Okay so I’ve seen a lot of people say that it doesn’t make sense why Pallis and Anura didn’t try to use the Doctor’s medicine or why the doctor didn’t help.

Here’s what I think happened:

When Pallis kicked in the door, during the time between the doctor’s song and the ending and the beginning, the doctor either got killed by the door or was murdered by Pallis. Thus, when Pallis tries to kill Anura, there is no doctor to save her.

However, Pallis’s attempt to kill Anura was intercepted by Adakias. The part where Pallis is singing to Adakias, telling him to hold on is actually him and Anura trying to keep him from bleeding out while trying to find something to keep him from dying. Yet their attempts are fruitless, and that’s why Adakias begins to sing goodbye to them and give his last wishes.
