Raizilea Diaries Day 3: 5/10/16

Today was pretty exciting! I got my Town Development Permit, so I was able to finally take care of some mayoral duties, beginning with ordinances.

As usual, I decided to go with the Beautiful Town Ordinance, so now I don’t have to worry about hunting down those pesky weeds anymore! I also started collecting donations for my first PWP: a cobblestone bridge.

I ended up spending the rest of the day on money making activities, like fishing, and constantly pestering my villagers into talking to me. Although some pretty fun interactions ended up happening! Spork came over to my tiny barren house for a while, then Tabby asked for a new catchphrase, which I changed to lmao (more like lmEOW amirite). After that, something really strange happened.

For some reason, Muffy pinged me twice within 10 minutes and offered to sell me not one, but two legitimate paintings for the exact same price. I didn’t even have to wait for one of Redd’s sporadic appearances in order to meet the requirement to unlock the museum’s second floor, and I’m already building up the art collection! The two paintings I ended up getting and donating were the fine painting and the common painting.
