It’s very fun building a HEAVILY cybernetic and genetically engineered civilization because unironically data and lore are sooooo normal and well liked there. They’re Literally Just People. Everyone is excited to meet androids who aren’t just “dead orgs brain mapped to a robot body” because they haven’t had a chance to successfully make an android like those two themselves. There have been attempts over the last millennia but there were always complications and when they wanted to mass produce for war it was cheaper and easier to just use meat brains and slap tech on it.

So data and lore are Very Special Little Guys to them. Excited to have them visit. Eager to include them in their society. They’re like a branch of the family you just found out you had in another country. 100% have admirers and fan clubs that think they’re Super Dreamy.

Everyone on the enterprise including data is like “he’s an android, he doesn’t feel emotion”. Riker out here like “why are you mooning over this man he literally cannot feel a thing back for you????” And rally point is just like “you monkeys are so primitive you have no idea what you’re saying that’s the HOTTEST MAN ALIVE”. Data has an oligarch of a quasi-empire on her knees down bad over him just by being his normal ass self it’s hilarious.
