RamBheem Headcanons Pt. 1

Ok, I didn’t get a chance to write a fic today, so I thought I’d do one of these ship memes for RamBheem. If you guys like it/are interested, I could also do one for Dhruya. 

First one to confess their feelings:  Bheem. Mainly because Ram is too emotionally constipated/low self-esteem/self-deprecation. So Bheem has to be the one to confess. 

First to apologize after a fight:  Bheem. They are both pretty good about knowing when they need to apologize, but Ram is definitely more stubborn.

First to wake up:  Bheem. Simply because he is an early bird who likes seeing the sunrise. He only convinces Ram to join him one out of ten times. 

First to fall asleep:  Also Bheem. Ram is a night owl/insomniac. He desperately needs sleep but even when he is forced early to bed, he is not able to shut off his brain as easily as Bheem. He does take the opportunity to enjoy Bheem cuddling up to him though. So he compromises by doing his reading in bed, Bheem curled around his side.

The affectionate one: Both and Neither. Both Bheem and Ram are happy to be affectionate, it just depends on the mood. Neither does it in public though, keeping it behind closed doors.

The overprotective one:  Ram for sure. Ram knows exactly how capable Bheem is but that doesn’t stop him from getting freaked out whenever Bheem has even simple scratches. Bheem understands Ram’s paranoia/ trauma leads to this tendency to blow any injury out of proportion, so he lets Ram fuss over him. To a limit. He can be pretty protective of Ram against what people may be talking about him behind his back though. 

The money savvy one:  Ram. Bheem grew up in the Gond tribe where currency works differently, whereas Ram is a strategist who has to consider all resources, including money. 

The more charismatic (popular) one:  Bheem. Need I explain this one?

The better caregiver when the other is sick:  Bheem is the more efficient caregiver. He knows exactly what medicine is needed when. And what to take to prevent getting sick in the first place. However on the rare occasions when Bheem is laid up, Ram alternates between pampering Bheem to the extreme, and practically chewing his fingernails to the nub. 

Does the cooking:  Both of them cook. They are both decent at it, so they switch off.

Does the housework:  Both of them split the chores equally. Ram’s organized mess sometimes drives Bheem crazy though.

Does most of the speaking:  Depends on who they are speaking with, but Bheem is more willing to talk to strangers, and is the more outgoing extraverted one out of the two.

Has good penmanship:  Ram.

Has a troubled past:  Ram. Again. Need I elaborate? 

Has more experience with relationships:  Bheem. I am convinced he was the ultimate catch in the Gond tribe, so I am sure he has left many a broken heart in his trail. But he is always so sweet about it/feels so guilty the other person forgives him and falls more in love with him. 

Keeps more secrets in the relationship:  Ram. They both are pretty good about being open with each other, but sometimes Ram's insecurities and anxiety keep him from telling Bheem some things.

The more observant of their partner’s needs:  Ram. He is always looking at every microexpression from Bheem. 

The one who dies protecting the other:  Preferably neither, but realistically, Ram would totally sacrifice himself to save Bheem.

RamBheem Headcanons Pt. 2

Ok, courtesy of @stuckyandlarrystuff, here are the points you wanted me to cover:

Who is the little spoon and who is the big spoon: I think they switch! But Bheem likes to wrap himself around Ram more, and Ram prefers to have Bheem sleep on top of him like the world’s best weighted blanket. 

Who shall embarrass the other while drunk: I don’t think either of them would drink, or if they did, very rarely. Ram is a lightweight because of this and gets drunk very fast. Bheem has slightly better tolerance. Neither would embarrass the other, but I think alcohol would lower their aversion to PDA enough that whoever took them drinking would get cavities from how gooey they’d act with each other.  

Start the fight: Who are they fighting? They don’t get into arguments often but when they do it is because Ram thinks Bheem has done something reckless without thinking about the long term consequences, and Bheem gets frustrated at Ram’s self-sacrificial tendencies. If they are fighting the British, they wait until there are no civilians in the line of fine and go Interval Fight Mode. 

Go outside and enjoy the rain and drag the other one in: Bheem obviously! Growing up in the forest, I bet as kids all the tribe’s kids would splash around in the downpour. It’s one of Bheem’s favorite feelings, and one he wants to share with Ram. 

Love kids more or is more expressive towards kids: Again Bheem. Ram gets more clammed up than a... well, clam. He is so rusty on normal social interaction, he can act his way around adults, but kids are earnest and loud and messy and yeah. Not a fun combination for Ram. Ironically though, babies fall asleep real quick in his arms compared to Bheem’s, because he tends to be more calm. 

Initiate their first time: Tough call, but as I feel Bheem would have more experience, he would want to take things at Ram’s pace. So, Ram would make the first move, and Bheem would guide them through it? 

Who will bring a surprise animal to the house and what: Bheem obviously, and all kinds of cubs and other baby animals. Baby elephants, tiger cubs, snakes, birds. Ram tries not to have a heart attack each time. He only half succeeds.  

The one who may have a strange phobia: What would constitute a strange phobia? I guess I would say Bheem with things related to the British culture/way of doing things? Not sure though.
