i love how erwin speaks like he could turn a story about sharpening a pencil into a life changing inspirational event. saying some shit about how the thing that hurts you only serves to further prepare you for what lies ahead, but take the pain too far and the tool ultimately becomes useless. like just threading the line between well spoken and intelligent man and a verbose know it all (but it’s endearing)

posted a cat photo and it became a mini hit so now people are replying with their own cat pictures ,,, little do they know that they’re fuelling my kitty levi obsession like with every photo i see in my mentions and dm’s i can instantly link it to a corresponding levi frame (بس هذا مشكلة يعاني منها الكثير صح؟)

i know the most likely situation is that levi genuinely has no idea when his birthday is but sometimes i like imagine that he does remember the exact day but has always opted to keep it to himself cause it reminds him too much of his mother and how she would try her best to make it the most special day for him.

she would take him as close to the exit from the underground to hopefully catch a bit of sunlight falling through the cracks and would surprise him with a treat/tea blend that she spent months saving for etc etc .and he doesn’t want to ‘taint’ those memories by sharing it with anyone else, his birthday was something for him and his mother only and all those special days died alongside her.
