hey folks, things are still pretty radio silent but we wanted to give an update:

We've recovered what data we can, it's not much but we didn't lose absolutely everything, so there's that.

We've been trawling the internet and our discord for what else we can recover that we did lose, it's been tough but we're getting somewhere.

We've actually got stream capability back up, but we haven't felt up to it between all of this and the holiday season, though there have been a few days where we tried to go for it and it just fell through.

A lot of our friends who join us for streams are extremely busy (holiday season and whatnot, right?) so morale has been a little low on that front as well.

All this to say, we're not dead, we're not gone, and we're planning on coming back. We still have plans, we still have the keywords for pond, and we've remade what we lost of future plans (save data for a bunch of shit kicked the bucket tho, that's a shame, probably not finishing any games we had going ASIDE from phoenix wright with @jadekwitch which we think might be ready again.)

That's all, just keeping y'all in the void posted, take care out there, especially if the holidays are or have been rough on you this year.

Sometimes we'd love nothing more than to ramble under the stars.

So sit with us for a minute, look up, outside your window, past your roof, out the door of your tent, whatever it may be.

We think a lot about the way we're perceived, it's something that gets drilled into you if you get put in enough speech therapy classes growing up, for a long time we cared a lot about it, then later not so much, and now we're not entirely sure honestly!

Sure, it's easy to say "we can't say this thing, it will give the wrong impression" and it's easy to not think, and follow it up with "sorry, our words aren't working right now. This is what we were trying to express:", but it's another thing to keep it running like a background process, like a private server. To keep the train on time and manage each of it's stops, you know?

Sometimes you are seen in a way that makes sense, and is close enough to reality that it is effective and there's no reason to clarify, but you want to because you want to be Known and Understood. You don't clarify unless a safe chance presents itself, you need time if the train goes off the rails to put it back on, either to keep the appearance of a tight ship, or to explain what the cargo's been all along. You do your best to give free tickets to the people who will ride the train for fun, unhidden, just to see your smile reflect the moonlight.

There is a point to us rambling into the void like this, we promise you, and we hope that the people we intent to speak about it to will hear it from us at some point. Until then, pull someone you love aside, take them for a walk, and ask them if you can talk about something and express yourself clearly, no mask, no paint, no obscuring void, no veil. Maybe it'll go bad, maybe someone will reach out and hold your heart just like you want them to, maybe you'll have a good laugh over why you were so worried about it in the first place.

Revel in unblemished honesty with the people who care about you, love them and treasure the way they make you feel, and remember you don't have to hide from them.

20. What’s one tip you have for other hypnotists/subjects?: Communicate, and know yourself and your needs. You can build a rapport where you don't always need pre-talk for certain things because you know each other's wants and limits very well, and it can make for a very fun and fluid set of experiences. Okay. Like, you know how you can tell when you're watching a Performance, like a play or a movie, and you see someone absolutely in their element and loving every moment of it? Have fun with hypno like that. Do the kind of hypno that makes your soul sing like you're perfectly in your element. Make stories about it and share it and have a fantastic time, no matter how dark or bright or scary or comforting the context, make it true to yourselves.
