Nikolai gets a surprise visit from Johns dad, boom.
Nikolai is a man of many things.
He's a man with great patience, considering how long he waited for John to come to the realisation that the women in his bed are fleeting. He could also be ruthless, knowing exactly how to snap someone's spine in half.
He considers himself a man that knows his lines, and he knows when is the appropriate time to be violent or disgustingly romantic.
At least he thinks so.
It had barely been an hour since the man sitting in the living room had arrived. And Nikolai might just be at his fucking limit with the old man. The bastard had been nothing short of absolutely critical of everything John had done in the past hour. From the way John had apparently 'made his tea' wrongly (Nikolai wasn't even sure what his problem was) to how 'disgusting' and 'snobby' John's apartment apparently was (Half of it was done by Nikolai, he can't help but feel offended at that).
And now John was in the bathroom, locking himself in under the guise of a shower. Nikolai wasn't sure what John's qualifications for a shower was, but he sure as hell knows it doesn't involve mumbling and praying in it. Nikolai sighs, he could hear the gruff voice of the bastard outside in the living room, somehow complaining about how piss poor his son was (didn't he just say that John was snobby and rich? What the fuck).
It has been a disaster since the morning, he thinks. With how John's father had woke them up at 6 in the morning with his incessant knocking, to the thinly veiled disgust and hatred the man seems to contain for his own son. Nik had only narrowly avoided a fight at 7 in the bloody morning by guiding the old bastard out of the door and into some random fancy café out in town.
It must have been karma, he thinks as he walks back out to accompany his hopefully, future father in law. He sits down opposite the man, trying not to seem far too cocky, lest the bastard complains again. He nodded along to the man's questions, smile forcefully strained as he attempted to make conversation with him. He could feel the man's voice chip away at his patience, his fingers almost ticking to just enact some... Fantasies onto the man.
"and who might you be? His roommate?"
That caught his attention, at least. Nikolai smiled, looking into the man with barely concealed annoyance.
"Nyet, I'm his lover, Im afraid."
He hummed, gauging the man's reaction to his statement.
When the first slurs came, Nikolai could only smile. And by the time the threats were spilling out, Nikolai could only throw the bastard out of John's apartment with far too much glee. He left the man in the hallway with a few broken teeth and a few thinly veiled threats to beat his teeth out of his ass the next time he comes around.
