I wanted to start 2021 with this portrait of a beautiful bride, someone who’s infectious smile, love & positivity will wear off on you immediately. She trusted us to be a part of her wedding all the way back during Lockdown. We made several contingency plans to be able to reach Hyderabad on Christmas Eve for her celebrations, no matter what. Be it booking flights for additional team members or keeping a full team on standby in Hyderabad - we planned it all (and I am glad I overcompensated). L+P’s wedding at Taj Falaknuma was very different from the other weddings that we have documented in their family. It had some systematic chaos to it. With just their close family and friends around - I felt that the two families were much more at ease and relaxed than they would have been around the usual 4-5k guests! The Reception, Mehendi, Cocktail, Sangeet, Pellikoduku & Pellikuthuru ceremonies - they were all full of laughter and fun. Our experience of flying to Hyderabad, documenting the wedding & coming back - has really put us in a happy state of mind & we are extremely grateful for the year that was.
