Saturday 12 May saw the 'Relentless Road to Nass' come to Belfast with T13 being the location for the action packed day. The guys at Ramprage and T13 worked hard for the weeks prior to the event to bring us a fresh new set up. For a lot of riders this was the first time seeing the new set up never mind riding it, which meant they only had their practice runs to get used to it. But that didn't effect the riding as all the riders tore it apart. Josh Wyles was over helping create the new set up and then treated it to some outstanding riding. The local boys were shredding, Connor Worthington, Joel Harper and Simon Reid once again standing out from the crowd while Jack Clark and Isaac lesser battled it out with some of the biggest tricks of the day. Not too forget some great stuff from Sam Cunningham, Jake Ellis, Billy Purcell and Mike Huges who were sending it all day long.
To name a few highlights that I can remember....Josh pulled a 2peg up rail to manual to feeble the box to 180 out, Sam had the crowd behind him to land a pedal grind up the hand rail, Jake fakie foot jammed the white Nass quarter, Billy flaired the bottom end quarter, Issac was boosting huge airs and 360's and he pulled a bars to manual to bars out of the quarter onto the deck of the big black rollin and back into the other quarter, Jack 720'd the step up, ally-oop flaired the rollin from the quarter and then he flair transferred from the step up to the big Nass quarter, Simon flipped the middle box and pulled a whip to tyre tap on the sub box, Joel pulled the quarter to quarter gap over the rollin and then the little madman tried to front flip the spine...3 attempts...so close!
Thoughts go out to Ben Jones who crashed hard in his run trying to front flip the middle box, he hit his head and was knocked out cold for a what felt like 5-10 minutes before paramedics made it to the scene. He was stretchered out and taken direct to hospital where he spent the night. We have had no recent news on his status but everyones thoughts are with him and we hope he makes a full recovery.
Well done to all the riders who took part to make it an awesome days riding, top work from the T13 and Ramprage crews for getting the set up ready for the big event, and to everyone else that helped out.

The Foam Pit opens at T13 Skatepark.
After a lot of anticipation, and a lot of hard work, saturday the 17 September saw T13 give Ireland, it's first Foam Pit! There was a great turn out, with riders of all ages pitching up to test out the new ramp. Monster Energy were there as well, providing the energy boost to keep people riding throughout the day, with loads of 360 whips, front flips and back flips begin thrown into the foam. Ramprage riders Simon Reid, Peter Thompson and Jack Clark were putting on an amazing show along with The Captain Matt Gillespie who was throwing down some huge backflip tailwhips.
Shoveit was down taking photos during the day, to check them out on Facebook click the image above.
