Day 4 of TOGArtChallenge
tog scribbles from this summer
All of a sudden I started to really like Ran so when I saw this I just couldn't help myself. Tower of God just keeps getting better and this Workshop Battle is going to be great. Also Ran is always so calm and chill.
Soy yo o Ran y Novick pueden volar?
... Wait a minute. I'm confused.
I told myself I'd only be asking these questions by the time the next chapter comes out since they'd most probably be answered by the chapter content by then. But then speculation ajkbgafkjsbdfibaj
Okay. If Koon's inner monologue was not at all figurative and if my eyes didn't deceive me, Ran should have dealt a fatal blow to Anak. (I mean, how can you not die from that Lightning Sword move? The shreds of white clothing behind Anak and the fact that Anak's clothes look torn on her back imply that the shot was directly through the left side of her chest.)
Question is, would SIU really kill her off for real?
At best she'd survive with injuries and come out as the loser of the match (I honestly don't see her coming out as the victor of this match IMO). At worst, dead for real. The plot will and could advance without her living presence. I could see Androssi trying to deny being affected by her niece's death. If Anak does live I can see her hate for Ran intensifying, and maybe she'll start to actually address her pride issues by learning from this battle with some moral support from her teammates.
And it doesn't seem likely that Anak would win in this situation, which should mean that Leesoo loses everything he's earned from betting in the previous rounds.
Besides not getting to advance to the next round, what does this imply? I'm confused by the rules, and I just want to know if this means Team Leesoo will not be able to advance to the next floor for a while, or if they can advance to the next floor regardless of whatever happens on the Archimedes [besides, if Anak really does die they'd be likely to find a replacement in time for the next floor's test].
And if Ran collapses when his five minutes are up, what would happen to him in the Team matches? Will he really recover quick enough to stand a fighting chance by the time the Team matches start? Or will he be disqualified for his inability to participate before the Team matches even start? (If Anak does, for some reason, win against Ran [I doubt she wouldn't be injured in the process], then these three questions will also apply to her, aside from the other injured regulars who have successfully plugged in the holes.)
