“Should I even waste my time missing her? Doubtful... These things happen I suppose.”
Person: how can you be so heartless? Tolf: Easy, not having a heart helps too.
The alchemist seemed to be hunched over one of the forest sage's bottle brews, scribbling something down on a small piece of paper with charcoal, if one were to caught her unaware, they'd see that she was actually making a crude drawing of something. What it was, was anyone’s guess.
The alchemist sat on the steps of her home, hugging her knees a bit as she watched the dark skies, as she couldn’t readily fall asleep at the moment. She thought it might be best to pass the time by stargazing. She wonders what her friends are up, as she held up her face with her hands, her elbows balancing themselves on her knees.
“ Ti-...time to disappear o-once again. “ She faded into the forest of magic as the sun sets, evening whisking itself over the land as the alchemist held her messenger bag strap with determination, whatever it was that she was seeking, nothing was going to deter her from finding it.
The alchemist sat, staring off into the distance at something, resting on the side of a tree. “ I-I hope th-that wasn’t.. a-a youkai. “ Hiei squinted, straining her eyes to let in whatever light there was, even so. It was pitch dark so there wasn’t much she could do except wait and lose her way through the forest again.
The alchemist is resting on a bed roll, staring up at a tree. “ . . . Wa-w-w-waaaaarrrm... “ She rolls over, not very happy with the temperature of the night.
The alchemist drapes a large cloth covering over her sign, fiddling a bit as the cloth caught onto the other edge of the shop sign. It would be another hour when she would be finally able to finish covering the sign completely, securing the edges with some help from the local carpenter.
There was a small huff as she exhaled, smiling a bit. Hiei kept a small sack tied to her leather bag, taking a moment to check over her belongings and supplies before making her way through the gates of the human village. She started walking, not taking a moment to look back at it one last time. It was going to be awhile before she came back though, at least, that’s how she planned for it, though knowingly throwing herself into danger was suicidal, buuuut she needed a less populated place to work without injuring people.
