I love using SubSeed Trevenant in Random Matchup. Even though it appears slow in the strategy, Harvest + Sitrus Berry lets it make Substitutes easily, while from there, Trevenant can just wear down the opponent with Leech Seed and/or Will-o-Wisp. It's a sadistic strategy, but it's also effective.
A lot of them will use an English name, spelled with all caps letters with spaces between them.

Just had a battle with a hacker in random match up
Punk used a Crustle that could magically hit my Crobat with earthquake.
At first i thought maybe he used that one move that smacks down flying types and levitators to the ground (forget the name) so I saved the battle video and watched it.
He made no such move. He just hit my Crobat, a Flying type pokemon, with an earthquake, a ground type move, which flying types are immune to.
So either there’s a hold item I don’t know about, or this punk was straight up hacking
That moment in random match up when the opponent has Mewtwo, Yveltal, and a bunch of pokemon capable of mega evolution
And then you sweep him anyway.
Oh Protean Greninja. Your one flaw is that you're not a poison type... And you're fragile... but still. Swept 2 legendaries and a mega. Took no damage. Fucking glorious.
Feeling good about myself because I just won a random matchup battle with a Japanese person! I also only used two of my pokemon to do it - malamar and carbink - taking out their azumarill, aegislash and greninja. To be honest, my third pokemon golurk wouldn't have been at all useful in this scenario.
