X: Hey, have you seen Axl? I haven't seen him for a bit.
Zero: I don't know. He said he was busy with something.
*Meanwhile Axl is playing Dance Dance Revolution as he dances to the song, "Let's Groove".*
Axl: LET'S GROOVE TONIGHT! SHARE THE SPICE OF LIFE!
Johann’s smile
Nono blinks. “Wow, he’s really working the tables. I can’t remember ever seeing him smile this much.”
I looked up from my hand mirror and looked over. “Yes. That’s his ‘kill me now please face.’”
She looked at me in surprise. “You’re sure?”
“Yes, look at his left hand.”
Nono did. “Oh... "
I snapped the mirror shut. “Someone over there is about to get cut. I guess I better go rescue them.”
Random Short I Thought Of Randomly
Jane Porter’s hot chocolate was the best hot chocolate in all the United Realms combined. It bested even Granny’s hardest attempts to keep up, and Tiana never even entertained the idea of competing with their work. Instead she, and the other two fine ladies, eventually all worked around each other’s best works in order to create a perfect blend of various places for customers to visit, depending on their moods and appetites at the time.
And right now, Robin was very much in the mood for one of those lovely hot chocolates.
“Here ya go,” Jane smiled, holding out the carefully papered cups to Robin.
“Thanks,” Robin reached up over the counter, carefully taking the two cups with a third cup of coffee already balanced precariously in the crook of her left arm.
“Oh, nice ring.” Jane grinned, noticing the beautiful gold band wrapped smoothly around Robin’s engagement finger. “So who’s the lucky character that snatched you up?”
Robin opened her mouth to answer when suddenly-
Rogers (otherwise known as Wish Captain Hook) ran past directly behind her, charging down the street as fast as his long legs could carry him. And settled firmly on his back, with his hands gripping tightly on her legs, was his only daughter, Alice Jones, with her blonde hair flying behind her as she wrapped an arm around his shoulders in order to keep from being thrown off. She held out her other hand ahead of her, pointing onward as she shouted: “PIGGY BACK TIME!”
Robin, having not reacted to the pair in the slightest, smiled up at a stunned expression on Jane’s face. “The pretty blonde dork riding the other dork.” She held up the drinks. “Thanks again!” Before turning and walking calmly after the pair. “You two want your drinks, or not?!” She called.
Chase Brody X Reader: A Random Short
A small short based on how my S/O asked me out for the first time in celebration of our 4 year anniversary!
Bold italics: Is the reader texting
Just bold: Is Chase texting
Chase looked down at his phone and took a deep breath. He’d been texting [Y/N] a lot that day and they’d been flirting back and forth for a month or so now, but he was ready tonight. He was finally going to ask them out.
Hey, do you think you could help me with something? a text message lit up his screen. Well, this was the perfect window of opportunity of he’d ever seen one.
What do you need help with?
I bought this cute little Eevee and have no clue what to name her any suggestions?
Chase bit his cheek as he looked down at the screen, so it wasn’t something he had to physically do. He was trying to figure out to turn this, he had to confident... He could do this..
[Y/N] sat on their bed, playing with their new Eevee that they’d gotten, it was a small one and absolutely adorable. If only they could figure out what to name the plush. They heard their phone ding and looked over to see that Chase had responded.
Ill give you a name if you give me a kiss on the cheek on Monday ;)
Well... they hadn’t been expecting that, they could feel their face heat up as their heart sped up. Yeah, they finally admitted to themselves that they’d been sort of flirting with Chase recently. Which had been hard to do after denying that they had a crush on him for so long. But this, this is was the most bold faced he’d done so far... They wanted to say no but they also wanted to say Yes... Their friends would never let them forget that they were right about this whole thing. But he wasn’t exactly a bad guy… He also was pretty cute…
Okay, give me the name. They typed and stared for a moment before hitting send and then hiding their face behind their hands. Even if they were alone at home right now this was embarrassing.
You ready for this? Eve. The response came pretty quick and [Y/N] could help but snort.
Thats a sucky ass name, deals off. They quickly typed and hit send. They totally weren’t backing out, no, this was just-
Ding!
Hey! You already agreed to the deal no take backs!
I could’ve come up with that name. They typed back, this feeling more like their usual banter, they felt a lot more relaxed.
But you didn’t, you made a deal with me to get a name, I held up my end.
Fight me
I will and you will lose
Will not!
Will too!
Ill prove you wrong! Just name the time and place!
Olive Garden! With breadsticks! Over dinner maybe?!
[Y/N] stopped, their breath leaving them as they read the text over and over again. Did he just... Ask them out? What do they say? What do they do?!
Meanwhile, Chase sat in his chair and chewed on his lip. All the confidence he’d had a second ago was gone. They weren’t responding and he was starting to wonder if he’d gone too far. Of course, not like the first suggestion hadn’t been forward enough, they had effectively backed out of that one, but they still agreed. He really hoped he didn’t mess this up. Then his phone dinged and he quickly opened the message.
Bring it on
Was that a yes? A grin spread to his face, his heart racing as he began typing again.
As a date?
His leg bounced as he waited for the response.
Yeah
“Yes!” Chase shot up from his seat, doing a quick happy dance. He was about to run out of the room, but he quickly stopped and grabbed his phone to reply.
Cant wait! He hit send and then immediately ran out of the room.
“Marvin! Marvin it worked!”
Meanwhile [Y/N] laid back in their bed and covered their face with their hands, they couldn’t believe that just happened.

And there ya go! That’s actually exactly how my S/O asked me out 4 years ago, long story short we went to Olive Garden, he bopped me on the head with a bread stick, and we’ve been happily together ever since! Sorry it’s so short, it really was all through text messages and I really couldn’t come up with much more. Hope y’all liked it and thank you for reading!

Into his third trimester, Jesse starts to feel the tempting calls of sleep more often, that on more than one occasion he starts to drift asleep in the middle of tasks and conversations. The worst time being in the middle of a meeting held by Jack, he was jerked awake by Ana to tell him he’d started snoring, and heavily pregnant or not, their commander looked less than impressed with his lack of concentration. No one else held it against him- Reinhardt even made a joke about how he was grateful it was Jesse before himself. There were worst pregnancy symptoms to get than too much sleep (a lack off, for instance), but Jesse begrudged spending his last few weeks too exhausted to do anything.
Nights in with Hanzo never go accordingly. When they plan to watch a film together or go on a walk through the base while the sun is setting, Jesse is suddenly succumbed to his own heavy eyelids, and resentfully he falls weak to their child’s influence over his body. All he wants is to enjoy their the little time they have together alone before their bundle arrives, but Jesse can’t help falling asleep on Hanzo at every interval. For a while he worried there was something wrong, but Angela put their minds at rest early on. As long as he was still staying somewhat active, a greed for sleep was the last thing they needed to worry about. Regardless, the more he misses out on their time together, the more stubborn Jesse gets to stay awake. One late afternoon he decided to cook for Hanzo, going out to fetch the ingredients for their stir fry, and just as he gets ready to get cooking, his head falls slack, causing his eyes to form static.
Hanzo comes back to their room to find Jesse rubbing his eyes as he stares at the raw chicken fillets he’d gotten out the freezer. Jesse’s hair is a tousled nest upon his head, and the expanse of his bump stretches out the once baggy flannel fair enough to touch the counter in front of him. Hanzo relieves Jesse of his culinary duties, and drags the cowboy to their bedroom, laying him down and stroking his hair soothingly.
“Aint fair I’m so lazy nowadays,” Jesse mumbles, feeling his body relax into Hanzo’s gentle touch. “We got like no time before this rugrat pops out. Be nice to spend some time together.”
“We are doing so right now.”
“With me conscious, preferably.” Jesse nuzzles his face into Hanzo’s lap, adjusting himself to get comfortable. “It’s no fun sleeping away my days.”
“Count yourself lucky, McCree.” Hanzo runs his fingers slowly through Jesse’s long locks, noting how much time has passed since he’s had a decent haircut, and goes on with a softer tone of voice. “Once she’s born, we will have countless sleepless nights. At least you’re getting the rest now while you can, and it’s well needed too.”
Jesse grumbles something under his breath, but within the minute his breathing evens out and the room fills with the gentle rumble of his snoring. Hanzo smiles at the sight, slowly sliding out from under Jesse and throwing a blanket over him, placing a soft peck on the side of his growing belly and leaves the room to let his boyfriend sleep.

Found this gem today. Not sure when I wrote it, but it was years, for sure.
Random Stop (2014) Review
★★★ - classically done story shot in an enticing way, that doesn’t explore the world of its premise nearly enough.
