I never chose the option of not wanting to join RFA... this time I did. Apparently this tilted Seven to violence. I think I like it 😉

The Victorians called sausages "little bags of mystery," which is so delightfully on the nose. It's almost charming. ☺
I saw Star Wars: The Force Awakens the other day. I liked it enormously but didn’t LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I was obsessed with Star Wars when I was a little kid and guess that I just really thought the obsession would awaken with the movie. It didn’t. *sadface* At least now I understand what all of the hullabaloo on my dash is all about.
10 Minute Break
Taking a 10 to jot some things down that have been on my mind. I haven’t written out a post in a while and I feel long overdue.
• Work is so crazy. I need to make a separate post just for that. Layoffs, people quitting, future uncertainty… All I know is I’m still here and have taken on a lot more work due to the reduction in staff. At least, for the foreseeable future, my job is secure. I’m working 50+ hours a week, which might be normal or even slow for some folks but it’s been a long time since I’ve worked over 40 hours on a consistent basis like this. And the last time I worked this much I didn’t have a husband and 2 kids. I’m just trying to find a balance right now.
• On that note, my next paycheck will be for 105 hours, hollaaa!
• On the other hand I feel awful. I’m neglecting myself. Eating poorly, not counting anything, not making time for the gym. I always used to make sure I did one or the other at least but I’m so worn out I’ve basically said fuck all of it and I’ve never felt worse. Time for an attitude adjustment.
• I’m determined to start posting my workouts and possibly intake for accountability purposes. It helped me when I was doing it in May, even though I failed a few times on keeping up with it. I’ll stick to it more if I feel like someone’s watching, even if no one actually reads it. The point is for me to stay accountable in a trackable method.
• Which reminds me, I need to pull out my training notebook (I like writing things down with a pen and paper) and go through it. Need to sort out macros, training schedule, etc. I think I’ll do that this weekend.
• If I don’t start getting more sleep I don’t know what I’m going to do. Hopefully being active again will help with that.
• That’s all I can manage for the moment. Gotta get back to it.
