There was actually a way to solve the ask box problem (idk if it’s only Singapore users getting the eternal error message), so I’m not sure if it’s tumblr’s problem. Then again we could always resort to fanmail to send out messages.

If it's the "trick tumblr into thinking I was from another country" proxy method, I tried it, though it didn't work out for me; and I didn't dare to explore further for fear of internet security issues. Yea, at least fanmail still works. Though fanmail's system requires users to follow the blog for some time first before letting you send it. So if it's a casual message or what not to someone you don't follow, or someone you just recently followed (like a hi message etc?), it won't work.

At least, that's what I think I know. Though, I still take the stand that ask boxes are a basic function that every tumblr user should have access to. And going past that in a roundabout way is just kinda absurd to me.

Wow even the reply boxes have changed D: Would’ve been better if tumblr actually did some sort of survey to let the users decide if they want the new icons or not. Or at least informed us. ._.

To be honest for my case I don't really mind that much about the change (because I know I'll eventually get used to it); the thing that I'm more irked by is that tumblr should really be getting it's priorities straight. Seriously, why would I even care about new icons when some of the basic functions like ask boxes still needs to be fixed?

Though as of now I'm still bugged by the new icons. <_<
