Give me a ship and I’ll tell you:
Who cooks: Aaron likes to cook. He learned a lot from Eric and Daryl’s practically obsessed with his cooking. Daryl’s already in the kitchen before the food is done, looking around Aaron’s shoulders and silently requesting a taste. Of course Aaron can’t say no to his man when he looks at him the way he does.
Who does the laundry and other chores: Daryl is not allowed anywhere near the laundry. Aaron still wonders how that man managed to get anything clean when it was just him and his brother, but he guesses they don’t use anything more than detergent. Aaron keeps his laundry cabinet fully stored with the proper soap, bleach, and ones for black clothing specifically. Daryl has ruined a good number of jeans.But Daryl handles about everything else. He’ll clean the dishes if Aaron asks and as long as he is reminded, Daryl will pick up the room. Its not too hard because Aaron keeps the house at an organized mess anyway and as long as Daryl knows where things are, he’s okay with it too.
How many children do they have: one fat cat and one tiny dog
Who’s more dominate: Aaron. But not like in the sense of D/S or anything. He’s not that much of a leader, and if he is, he’s quite the reluctant one. He’s a mediator first.But with Daryl he finds he has to be. Especially in the beginning of their relationship. Daryl had been in the closet all his life and Aaron knows how this is like. He knows the other’s feelings of insecurity. On top of that, he finds out Daryl has a lack of experience in sex and that was another hurdle to get over before he convinced Daryl that whatever is going to happen, it will happen with the utmost respect. In the bedroom Aaron had to learn how to become a leader, but with Daryl it wasn’t hard. There had always been something soft about him, something in him that yielded easily. And once they get in the mood, its really hot for the both of them when Aaron’s gets handsy and rough. Daryl’s body is practically putty under Aaron’s hands from the sensations he’s been denying himself his whole life.
Favorite nonsexual activity: Aaron’s suggested books for Daryl to read, so when Aaron’s just finishing up with his work, Daryl would sit on the couch in the crook of the armrest, getting lost in whatever story he’s been given. A lot of the times when Aaron’s done, he’d just join Daryl right there on the couch with a book of his own, tugging on the other man until his comfortable weight is rested into his side and they’d read together in silence.
Their favorite place to be together: The garage. Daryl is always in it, whether his own or at work. At home Aaron would join him and he’d tuck himself in a corner out of the way, working on his laptop in between staring at his sweaty and dirty boyfriend. Sex often ensues.
Any traditions: Daryl is to keep Tuesdays and Thursday free so that they can have strenuous and adventurous marathon sex the night before. That is simply how it goes in the house lol
Their “song”: Its funny, but Aaron likes to break into song. His favorite is “Foolish Heart” by steve perry and he will sing this at Daryl even after he’s told him to stop and push away at his face with a grin.
What they do for each other on holidays: (( i forgot this one! ))Well, I always figured Aaron would be the best gift giver. He’s insane. he knows exactly what Daryl wants or needs and it’ll be wrapped perfectly in the snazziest present paper ever. Of course Daryl tries to do the same LOL he pretty much lives by example, doesn’t he, and he knows getting gifts from Aaron makes him feel good inside. He just didnt know how hard it was to pick something and his sloppily wrapped presents with its crooked bow looks rather pathetic next to his gift.But Aaron is always so charmed when he sees it. They don’t often get to open their present that day because Aaron’s too busy dragging Daryl back into their bedroom.
Where did they go for their honeymoon: They probably went to a tropical island on the other side of the world. It was the first time Daryl has been out of Georgia, and definitely his first out of the U.S., so it was a culture shock for him. It was touristy and cute and Aaron had a lot of enjoyment watching Daryl try and communicate with nice, but non-english speakers and trying out all the new foods. It was an eyeopener for a man of his background and Aaron can see how the trip has changed him. He loves it.There is a scrapbook of their honeymoon. Aaron made it himself and its filled with pictures in and out of the hotel. It is completely private.
Where did they first meet: A garage sale next door to the Dixon property. Daryl had stared at the couple, wondering what a pair of yuppies were doing in a neighborhood like this one. Daryl was working on his bike and Aaron had noticed, came and asked him a whole bunch of questions while Eric did his trinket shopping. He invited Daryl over when he found out he works with motorbikes since he had one rusting away in his garage that he needed help with. At the time Aaron was with Eric and they never knew that their friendship would lead into what it is now.Anyway, Aaron does miss Eric from time to time, but they split up on good terms. It wasn’t hard to see that Aaron’s heart had gone somewhere else and Eric had never been a selfish man. Aaron wasn’t too and he didn’t want to lead Eric on, so he let him go. In fact, Eric had gotten with someone new long before Aaron had even convinced the stubborn redneck to go on a date with him.
Any pets: Yes, a dog and a cat. Aaron’s home all the time. He didn’t quit his job, but he works in a different branch now, one where he can simply do everything from a computer. its not as fun, but at least the rest of his time is spent with his boyfriend. He much prefers this.But anyway, one cat and one dog. Both spoiled. They have one cat who is fat, lazy, and Aaron’s. They also have a small dog that looks like it’s owned by a college girl, but is completely Daryl’s. Its hilarious when Daryl leaves the front door to go to work and right behind him is this bouncing little dog at his feet and seconds later this fat lazy cat.
What do they fight over: They rarely fight, but their biggest fight had been over Daryl refusing to visit Aaron’s parents. One misunderstanding led to another misunderstanding and they ended up shouting at each other. Daryl had left for a bit, rode off for the night, while Aaron locked himself in the bedroom. It gave them time to think and they needed it because by morning they had understood.When Daryl returned Aaron had apologized first simply because he was faster. He already knew Daryl was gonna take a moment in fear of rejection. But the moment the word was out of Aaron’s mouth, in the middle of his explanation, Daryl was stuttering out that he was sorry too. (( in the end they agreed that they would wait. Aaron’s parents could wait, and they did patiently until Daryl was ready to come out to people he didn’t know ))
Do they go on vacations, if so where: All the time. Aaron’s been all over the wold and seen so many things to not want to share in the experience. Every other year he’d get Daryl to take a paid leave and then they’d drop their pets off to a pet hotel and fly off to whatever country they could go. Daryl knows Aaron loves to travel and that he misses it, so to see him when they’re out of the country is an experience in itself. Aaron loves seeing Daryl change before him and become a more worldly and understanding individual.
