Hey, Golden! <3 Okay, so my favorite band is Citizen Soldier because I find most of their songs relatable in some way but they do tend to talk about depressing topics. I say this because the song I got was one of their more depressing ones. Just a warning... I am fine. Like most of this stuff is relatable because I have either already worked through it or am working through it. That being said, the song was Pretend My Pain Away by Citizen Soldier. I adore their lyrics for most songs so it was a bit hard to choose, particularly between two but we gotta choose one line so I decided to go with what I actually relate to the most, as compared to the rest of this song. "The more you tried, the less you helped. It only made me hate myself." I like this line because it's how I felt as a kid. I grew up in a family of fixers and with undiagnosed ADHD. They loved me but sometimes I felt like a project.

I know what they were doing was out of worry and I never felt unloved, they did everything they could to help me with what little they knew... but sometimes that was the problem. I don't really like going too in depth about my problems anymore. Tends to get me into trouble so I'll leave it at that. Sorry this had to be a kind of depressing one! Thanks for asking Golden!
