What if something happens and mc keeps on dying (like retry now) but each time he tries their memories get more mushed and they slowly forget who they are and who anyone else is. Once solomon realized he hit the point of no return he tries to get past mc to make the choices that led then to surviving properly so solomon is forced to watch them die over and over again, some deaths he has to help as he knows its gonna go very bad so he stops the cycle at that point and resets them.
