paper boats
white-colored, lined with cobalt and crimson made from sheets of paper, folded together my little paper boats watch them sail and be carried away by the waves of yesterday see them float on the clear waters of innocence and unwind as i, your captain, imagine steering the wheel with my little hands my crew and i glide faster race with the other paper boats have a playful battle while enjoying the breeze of laughter look at how these little ships paint smiles, so timeless, upon those cute little pirates leaving them a rowdy feeling as joyful tears rain down sinking our little paper boats, gracefully, both the pirates and captains think: "they may have gone but i can always make another one"

I wasn’t able to make a year-end post last year as I was sick when the new year came. Talk about good timing, eh? And so I decided, why not make one now in retrospect. Well, sort of. If two years ago you told me I’d get over feeling so down, lost and insecure, I seriously never would’ve believed you. But look where I am now. 2018 was very good to me. If 2017 was a year of many firsts, 2018 was a year of second shots. I started to gain my confidence back following that awful dark episode after I quit my job. I got a new work that I couldn’t be more grateful for. And finally, I simply went back to life. I can say that I am truly in a happy place right now. Besides, it’s my birthday tomorrow so another reason for me to continue the celebration. Cheers!
