Randy pushed the register drawer shut, having counted it for the final time that night. The last few hours went by quicker than he anticipated, but that was thanks to the rush of customers the month of October always seemed to bring. That was the first time since their shifts started that he was alone in the store with Stu. Once he finished at the register, he wandered around the various aisles until he found where the taller male was.
“ ‘ey.” His foot moved to gently tap Stu as he greeted him. “You’re not doing anything after this, right?
