I've been thinking about gender identity and recently someone said I looked androgynous I had to ask what that was and when I looked it up it really fit with me , people have mistaken for a boy and I never really cared same goes for a girl but neither felt right to me , what I'm Wondering is can an androgynous person go by they them pronouns if they want to ?

anyone can use they/them pronouns if they want to and it makes them more comfortable!

SuperVasquez 16 Accidentally falling asleep on the couch together.

“Alex,” Kara leaned over the back of the couch she’d just deposited on the hardwood floor of her sister’s new living room as Susan Vasquez flopped onto the sofa in front of her.  “Supergirl could have done the entire move in an hour.  You seriously couldn’t have waited a couple days for my powers to come back?”

“Sorry, sis.  Timing is everything.  We had to be out of the old place today.”  Alex dropped a box on the floor and winced at the disturbing rattle it made as it hit the ground.  “Oops.”

“Watch it, Danvers.  You break it, you bought it.”  Maggie followed Alex through the apartment door and placed her own box carefully on top of Alex’s before snaking her arms around Alex’s waist.  The two began canoodling with no regard for the other two women in the room.  Kara rolled her eyes.

“There’s a special place in hell for people who schedule city moves in the hottest month of the year.  There better be so much pizza and beer at the end of this.”  Vasquez punctuated her statement by wiping sweat from her forehead with the hem of her t-shirt, exposing her impressive abs.  Kara tried not to stare.  She really did try, but Susan was right there, trying to catch her breath and leaning her head against the back of the couch.  Her face was so close, eyes closed, neck exposed. 

This had been happening a lot the last couple of weeks.  Moments between them, heavy with feeling, with potential, with possibility.  Kara found herself enjoying these moments more and more.  She was mortified that Susan might think she was orchestrating them.  But the accidental meetings kept happening, after missions or before briefings, and that one time Susan twisted her ankle and Kara had to carry her to the med-bay.  She remembered the way Susan’s breath fell against her neck and the weight of her head against her shoulder.  

Kara let herself enjoy the view for a moment too long when her heart fluttered and she stood quickly before she did something stupid like push that tiny lock of hair away from Susan’s eyes.  “So, we almost done?”

Alex pulled herself from Maggie reluctantly to answer.  “Just about.  Tell ya what, wimp, since you and Vasquez have done the bulk of the heavy lifting, you guys hang out here and Mags and I will go back for the last truckload.  You can rest until we’re back and then we’ll bring up the last of it.”

“Ugh, you’re the best.”  Kara made her way around the couch and flopped next to Susan.  “Take your time.”

Alex and Maggie left and Kara indulged herself just a bit by letting her head drop onto Susan’s shoulder.  She smiled when she felt Susan’s head rest gently against her own.  Her heart did that pleasing little flutter again, so Kara lifted her head, retreating again in fear.  

Susan’s hand on her jaw stopped her.  “If you keep pulling away every time I get close to you, you’ll give me a complex.”

Kara nuzzled into Susan’s hand.  “It isn’t that.  I don’t want you to think I’m doing it on purpose.  We just keep ending up…” her breath caught as she met Susan’s eyes, suddenly much closer than they were a moment ago.  “...really close.”

Vasquez smiled.  “And if I told you I was doing it on purpose?”

Kara’s eyes slipped closed and she took a deep breath.  “I’d say it explains a lot,” she answered.

Susan grinned and dropped her hand, ready to retreat before Kara got any more terrified.  Kara didn’t let her get far.  She caught Susan’s hand and pulled her back in.  She pressed a sweet kiss against Susan’s lips and the flutter in her heart became a small earthquake.  She sighed quietly and pulled away.  Kara met Susan’s eyes and licked her lips.  She tasted sweat and Susan’s honey lip balm, but didn’t have time to process the kiss before Susan was leaning in to claim another.  Kara draped an arm around Susan’s shoulders and pulled her closer.  They fell against the couch cushions and the kiss deepened.  Kara’s head swam and a thrill like liquid sunshine shot through her veins.  Her arms came around Susan’s waist and she held her tight.

“Ow.” Susan pulled away and her breath left her with an involuntary “Oof.”

“Oh my gosh.  I’m sorry, Susan.  I, um, think my powers are back.”

“Well, don’t I feel powerful.  Like a superhero battery charger.”  Susan swiped a gentle thumb across Kara’s bottom lip.  Kara laid a kiss there and they giggled softly.  Susan snuggled her face into Kara’s collarbone and Kara held her close again, moderating her strength carefully.

Alex and Maggie burst into the apartment, each carrying a box.  Alex strode across the room and peeked over the back of the couch to see her sister holding a finger to her lips then pointing to Susan, still sound asleep across Kara’s chest.

Maggie sauntered up behind Alex and surveyed the scene.  “Well I’ll be damned.  Get it, Little Danvers.”

“Shut up.” Kara tried to sound threatening, but couldn’t hide her smile.  She tried and failed not to wake Susan as she attempted to slide off the sofa and lay her back down, but Susan sat up anyway.  She had an adorable line across her cheek from a wrinkle in Kara’s t-shirt.  Kara grinned and ran a finger down that line.  “Stay here.  It’ll just take me a few minutes to unload the truck, then we’ll order pizza.”

She ignored Alex’s raised eyebrow as she sped from the room, intent on finishing this infernal move and getting back to more enjoyable things.

16) who gets jealous when people flirt with their partner?

ava. they can both be jealous and sara has absolutely no chill if someone tries to flirt with ava but ava is the worst for it.

20) who is the loudest in bed?

ava and sara is very proud of that

24) who feels they’re inadequate for their partner’s love?

both of them to a certain degree, especially in s3 after sara had the evil death witch moment and ava found out she was a clone. but in s4 i think sara’s become more secure so ava feels like she’s the less deserving one.

30) who cries the most?

i think ava. sara’s becoming more open emotionally and letting herself be vulnerable with ava so in this sense crying isn’t a bad thing but it’s still ava. and it used to be something she hated because she felt like it was a weakness but now it’s a reminder that she’s human and she feels emotions strongly and she’s not just a mindless clone

28) who brings the stray puppy home and begs to keep it?

sara is literally captain of a team of stray puppies so definitely her.
