1. Which fictional character do you feel you can relate to the most?

I don't know. Usually I start out relating to all of them, but they're all so fantastic and brave and different from me that I stop relating but keep enjoying them...

I actually have no idea - I share a Spotify Premium account with me mum and ma bro, and I hardly use iTunes anymore. I'll just go with Automatonic Electronic Harmonics by Steam Powered Giraffe :P

3. Are you in any fandoms, and if so, which ones?

Welcome To Night Vale, Harry Potter, The Avengers, James Cameron's Avatar, Steam Powered Giraffe, Doctor Who, Hannibal, The Fault in Our Stars - at least, that's the things I love the most fandom-wise.

4. Would you rather be  able to fly or to be invisible?

FLY - I love flying and being able to soar over everything and discover places left almost untouched by mankind without having to touch it - ah.

5. The last book you read?

Insurgent. I'm reading it right now.

6. Which song describes your life right now?

Ambulance - Eisley (the first line is: I need an ambulance. It's term finals season.)

7. Would you rather have infinite knowledge, power, or money?

Money - because with money comes power, and with money I can pay to learn stuff and stay curious about the world - it's no fun when I know everything! Plus, I could by a castle in Scotland. Mmm.

8. If you had to team up with a superhero to save the world, which superhero would you choose?

Thor, of Asgard. He can guard my ass.

9. What kind of phone do you have?

A Samsung Galaxy SII, and I hate it sincerely.

10. Biggest letdown you ever had?

Discovering how insignificant I am.

I'd like the style to be kind of mystical - not like crime, or horror, but mystery - things that happen because the universe felt it needed to spice itself up a little for once, goddamnit. Like werewolves, vampires, curses, things that lead to a change - I am extremely fascinated by biological/anatomical changes for some reason.

1. If you were able to make one thing true, from books to creatures what would it be? Superpowers definitely. But if it had to be one specific thing, maybe the ability to enter book universes? 2. Did you ever have or want an imaginary friend when you were small? Honestly, I don’t recall. I don’t believe I did though. My imagination is more active now, I think, than when I was younger. 3. Do you have a story that you’re particularly proud of? Or a character whose backstory shines a bit brighter than most? Tell us about it/them. As I said, I have a very proactive imagination so I like to make up stories with most things I encounter daily. However I don’t have a particular story that stands out. 4. What genre do you like the most? (i.e. fantasy, non-fiction, comedy, etc) Fantasy or Sci-Fi 5. What do you think the future will be like? I think it’s more likely to be the terribly polluted dystopia than it is a nice place. I mean, I’m sure technology will make amazing leaps, but still. 6. You’re invited by aliens to leave the earth with little to no warning and have only one chance to say yes, do you go with them? No. I couldn’t leave my family. 7. If your life was a once upon a time book how would it read? and how would you twist the story to end in a way you’d like? The beginning would be terribly boring. The twist I would prefer would probably be ending up as the villain. 8. Have you ever had any dreams which made you stop and think about them when you woke up? if not, tell us about one that you remember which was particularly interesting. I have lots of dreams about my family dying. The first time it hit me that I would have to bury everyone I loved I told myself I’d kill myself first. I have since reconsidered obviously, but it was hard. 9. If you could, would you make a clone of yourself? Yes. I’d want to meet myself from someone else’s perspective. 10. Tell me about a true ghost story that happened to you or to a close family member? (if none, then just tell us a frightening tale!) Idk about scary or even “real” but we recently moved to a new home and I noticed that occasionally I would hear stomping down the hallway which I chalked up to my grandpa (we moved my mom’s parents in with us) but after a while I became more familiar with his footsteps I decided they’re not the same. I mentioned it to my mom and she agreed that she had also heard them but we never catch anyone in the hall when we hear them. Also, my dog is prone to staring at an empty space and barking, my door will randomly slam on occasion, and a radio the previous owner left will turn on and off. We now joke that the house is haunted.

My professional art blog has been revamped!

My student maintenance loan debt has hit me harder than expected, and as a result money is even tighter than usual at the moment.  Therefore, I'm now taking on commissions!

First things first, I won't take on fan art commissions unless the owner of the original work has fully expressed that they are 100% okay in artists doing so (and I'll need proof).  So no drawings of Steam Powered Giraffe or anything; the above picture of Rabbit is just an example of my drawing style.  Also, no NSFW commissions please!

If you're still interested after all that, then feel free to inbox me!  My prices are as follows (in British Pounds and US Dollars):

Head & shoulders portrait - £5/$8 pencil sketch; £6/$10 inked drawing (includes block shading if desired); £8/$13 digitally coloured picture

Full body picture (one character) - £6/$10 pencil sketch; £8/$13 inked drawing (includes block shading if desired); £10/$16 digitally coloured picture

(Add £3/$5 for each extra character, and £5/$8 for backgrounds - possibly more depending on the complexity of the background)

I'm also available for graphic design work and those ink silhouette pictures painted onto genuine papyrus, as shown above.  The papyrus pictures are £8/$13 + P&P (I'll have to calculate that separately based on where you are), and each graphic design assignment will be quoted separately.  I'll also add P&P charges if you want your commissioned piece sent to you as a physical work rather than a digital one - I wish I didn't have to include P&P charges, but I'm honestly poor enough that I can't really afford to just pay for those charges myself (unless you happen to live in the same neighborhood, in which case I can just run it down to you :P).

*massive hugs* I hope you have a better day tomorrow! I know how rubbish being sleep-deprived feels, but once you get back from work you can hopefully settle in and have a night just to yourself. (I recommend a good film, a bubble bath, and plenty of chocolate as a good way of unwinding and recharging!)

I, uh, I ended up not getting up at 8, oops. I am a bad student. Going to my second class in an hour, though, and after that I'm hanging out with a handful of friends. We're makin' lasagna and then we're gonna start a new Dungeons & Dragons campaign! It'll be my first time, I'm super excited. I rolled my character yesterday!

I have wednesday off though, so I'll definitely use that to recharge. I only wish I had a bath tub! I haven't had a bubble bath in about a decade D:
