honestly rannah would probably be so enamored with things like the golden hammer and other little multitools like that bc all she’s able to use is stuff she finds when raiding scrap yards and dumpsters of industrial buildings, so something like that she’d really get a kick out of

like “wow, its a hammer AND a flat head AND a philipshead?? this is amazing, i need 12″

⚡ : How does your muse feel about storms? Are they afraid of them, or do they calm them?

Cor is indifferent about them tbh. She isn’t super ecstatic about them but not scared of them. It doesn’t bother her music since she has noise-cancelling headphones.

⚠ : How does your muse react to possibly dangerous situations? Do they face them head-on, or do they plan out their actions first?

Rannah is a planner since most of the danger she gets in involves higher castes. She knows you can’t just rush in psionics blazing so she uses a lot of carefully practiced strategy. Naturally she doesn’t always have that luxury but even then she doesn’t go guns blazing unless there’s extreme stakes.

How is Rannah problematic? 🤔

Ask me about one of my OCs and I’ll list out why they’re problematic.

Her sense of morality is way too black-and-white; either you’re with the hemospectrum or you’re against it, and anyone who has a neutral opinion is enabling the subjugation of the lower caste

Because of the above and her tendency to never accept help from anyone, she has few trolls she can call friends

There is so much bad blood from her past that she sort of lets it consume her and it gives her blinders. She still (somewhat rightfully, but still) distrusts highbloods even if they’re clearly against the spectrum.

She thinks she copes well with her trauma but she Does Not. Playing flute on the roof and slitting throats in the night does not equal good therapy or a moirail for that matter

Her emotions run hot even though outwardly she’s pretty calm and collected most of the time. It becomes a problem if she catches a child in danger of being attacked or a mutant about to be culled. Her normal sensibilities sometimes go right out the window and all she cares about is saving the victim

Seeks solitude and works strictly on her own despite recurring bouts of deep loneliness

10. If they had a choice, would they prefer a subway or a bus for public transportation?

That’s a hard decision to make for her bc honestly she’d prefer on foot any day. Maybe bus, since there’s easier escape routes and (according to the concept art) they’re at least organized by caste so she could just board a lowblood one to feel safe. 

20. If your character was allowed to murder one person without any consequences, who would that person be and why?

The Grand Highblood. She’d love to make a major blow to the carnival any day, and if she somehow was able to kill the grand highblood she’d die happy. 

30. Finally; if your character was forced to eat one thing for the rest of their life, what would they choose and why?

Bread, potatoes, or rice, anything plain and starchy like that. Tbh if she had a choice it’d probably be potatoes, bc they’re the simplest but most nutritious out of the three. She hasn’t had the chance to eat anything really complex.

which of your trolls, if any, do you think will manage to surpass their ancestor?

GOOD FUCKIN QUESTION

Rannah, maybe? Her ancestor was constantly on the move running around and avoiding capture while simultaneously building a rebel group. She ended up being more of a martyr figure who died for the cause, whereas Rannah is much more active and would be fighting back. Rannah understands dying for the cause but she sees living as much more beneficial. With her control over her powers and vigilant mindset Rannah could probs surpass the Escapist if she lives long enough

Either of the Vernias could surpass the Tameless since her notoriety was in a very limited area of Alternia. Lahiri most likely, since she actually has a career

And ofc Ixalia, bc she’s basically like a more upbeat version of her ancestor, so she has the killing skills combined with being happy to do it which arguably gives her a chance to become better

Other than that I’m not really sure. I have some seriously powerful ancestors who’s descendants are pretty mundane in comparison (coughthekomidescough)
