Our new record is almost done and it is by far our best and deepest work to date. Help us finish it for CMA Fest and for all of you!
Buffalo's own country band Ransomville have recently recorded their new album Living is For Everyone, and are looking for the fan community to help them reach their goal. Ransomville is a guitar-picking type of band whose sound fits well into the Zac Brown Band or Blake Shelton kind of good times that works so well when winter begins to break. As I mentioned, the new album has already been recorded -- the music is done. So where would your donation go? According to the Kickstarter page: "Your Donation is going to be going towards two major areas. The first being the completion of the record ... we just need your help to finish the cost of artwork, duplication, and packaging so we can get it into the public's as well as important people in Nashville's hands. This will also greatly help us in the promotion costs for the record such as radio, Satellite radio, and various social media outlets. The second area your donation will be going towards is to help cover some of the travel expenses for the band to get down to CMA Fest 2013 in Nashville, Tennessee this June." This year's CMA Fest takes place from June 6-9 in Nashville, Tennessee. They stated that last year's performance opened some doors for them, and they are looking forward to take over Nashville again this year. To do that, Ransomville is hoping to raise $3,500 by May 23. By pledging $20, backers will receive "a digital download or physical copy of the CD before it is released, an 8x10 color photo of the band, and Ransomville guitar picks" autographed by the band.
Some of you have probably seen this but I've gained a lot of new followers in the last few months. This is a teaser for RaceDocs using iPhone 4 footage taken at the 40th Super DIRT Week at the Syracuse Fairgounds and Rolling Wheels speedways.
Currently I am organizing raw sets of images and video for future use. My brother has volunteered to help me film a night of racing inside and out of the pits at Ransomville Speedway. For a test project we will follow a few racers from beginning to end on a night of grassroots dirt track racing. Stay tuned...
