After thatclimbergirl uploaded her climbing photos I decided I’d upload some in lieu of climbing season! Now, mine may not be quite as cool. I’m generally the photographer, so I’m not is as many as I take. If fact, I may upload some later that I really like that I’ve taken. Some have even been published :) CLIMBING SEASON!
As a writer yourself, in what ways has your tumblr page helped your own writing? Just curious :)
1. Motivation - My page keeps me thinking about writing, even when I’m not actively working on any fiction.
2. Research - I don’t know everything, believe it or not, so I’ve learned quite a bit through looking things up or searching the Internet for other people’s advice on things.
3. Practice - I don’t have a lot of time to write fiction. Whenever I include samples trying to explain what I mean when I talk about a concept, I try not to pull existing samples from online and instead write them myself. I’ve come up with a few interesting scraps because of that, like the kiss scene I wrote yesterday!
(I’ve decided Selph’s full name is Enid Selph. I have no idea who she is, or who the girl she’s kissing is, or what story they belong to.)
