It's just occurred to me that I should post this, It was technically an assignment for a class but it's also art that I really enjoyed the process of making which I will detail under here for anyone who wants to know 😁 (long rant)

This one was made using Adobe photoshop, which I can use through my school's art and media technology program (pretty cool) and all of the images are the free stock images you can get from those websites.

I think one of the parts I had the most fun with was coloring the statue, it was originally just grey and I really liked the idea of coloring it based on the original album cover. I think the statue itself really feels like TV Girl's music, especially in that album, and I liked making the highlights blue and the shadows pink for no specific reason other than I wanted to, because sometimes the best motivation for making anything is just that you want to.

The background was admittedly a little bit rushed because, procrastinator I am, I barely got it finished before it was due lol. The flowers have no specific meaning other than to sit and look pretty, and I tried to find ones all in that same sketchbook style. The blue and pink gradient is obviously inspired by the original album (though I didn't colorpick for any of it so I have no idea if it's right or not.) The lettering and all that is just some fonts I found, I'm a big fan of any font that vaguely resembles times new roman for some unidentifiable reason, and the "TV Girl" text is actually an overlay layer, because none of the colors I tried really looked great and I really wanted the text there. I was originally going to make it brighter but I changed it when I put the flowers in because it started to look really strange.

Literally one of my favorite school projects I've ever done, and I don't get to yap about my process very often 🌟

Been writing a story recently, and I've been thinking that I'd like to tie it in to the canon universe somehow, but without detracting from the lore. The idea is that I have several iterator and ancient OCs that scurry around and do things that fuck up other things, and eventually it comes back to the gold pearl (which obviously sets off the events of Rain World.) The struggle here is that I don't particularly want to have one of those all important OCs that ends up beimg the center of the universe.

The main OC in question here is Iterator Eleven Silver Strings, who ends up with the original gold pearl, which contains illegal alteration processes still, but not specific to overwriting the self destruct taboo. Instead, the pearl would be originally developed by ancients Drowning Waves Under Three Moons and Several Stones Skipped on a Stream as a failsafe that could activate upon an iterator losing control of something important unexpectedly. I'd like to have Stones live on top of Seven Red Suns to keep a plausible way that the gold pearl could make it there somehow for Suns to alter it and make it into what we know as the gold pearl. To be clear the OG pearl has nothing to do with self destruction, just a way for Eleven silver strings to escape a particularly rough situation because her ancients are not too fond of iterators. I just want to make sure that I'm at least on the edge of canon and not completely going off the rails to add my own stuff.

I have a huge web of stories in mind, and each little choice makes a huge ripple effect on other cities and environments. I'm excited to get into the worm off the string parts too...

Going on a rant about my school's shit management unfortunately

So i have to go to another campus every other day as part of a program im in that was originally on our campus, but got spontaneously moved for this year (i am a senior, yes I was pissed, no i had no say in it at all) and they refuse to give us any information at all 😭 when we have altered schedules, they don't tell us if we're going to the other campus or not until literally day of in an email at 8am (we leave at 10am). So next week, a bunch of middle schoolers are touring the highschools, and we have a different schedule for 4 days, but guess what NONE OF US THAT GET ON THE BUS KNOW??

Thats right, we have no fucking idea where we're gonna be next week, and the administration at our school gets frustrated with us for asking because its such a small amount of people ~30 that don't know where they will be! They said they would get it together and communicate with us and the other campus administrators, but i actually think this might be my 13th reason I fear.

A huge pet peeve i have is when gaming channels (especially ones run by an adult) are like

"Where do they want me to go? This is a dead end and there's no way out!" WHEN THERE WAS AN OPEN DOOR YOu LITERALLY JUST PASSED.

And the case of this that gets me the most was that one scene in Mario odyssey where Mario bursts in to save peach and she smiles at him. You know the one.

I have seen so many ADULT GAMERS going like "wait why is she smiling does she want to marry bowser??????????"
