I’m way behind on grumps, but I decided to check in on the tag, and saw some people GENUINELY FUCKING ANNOYED that Arin and Dan said they weren’t okay with explicit content made of them. “The final nail in the coffin has been hammered in.” is one post I saw. YOU REALISE THESE ARE REAL PEOPLE RIGHT??? And by the way, just because they said they aren’t okay with ***EXPLICIT*** fanart and fic, that’s the only part of Egobang/Polygrumps they’re explicitly against! AND THEY HAVE E V E R Y F U C K I N G R I G H T TO BE AGAINST/UNCOMFORTABLE WITH IT. Your fluff and wholesome fanarts are fine! They never said don’t do that! But if the death of the smut is enough to kill it for you then like. Bro. I don’t even know what to tell you. Good god, I can’t believe people are ACTUALLY ANGRY about them putting their foot down about this. I literally saw someone be like “Dan’s nephew’s shouldn’t even be on adult parts of the internet.” OH YEAH BECAUSE IT’S SO SIMPLE TO AVOID. Don’t act like you weren’t stumbling upon and finding nsfw content during your formative years on the internet. SU Critical and RantGrumps are basically the same, as both are taking minor flaws and mistakes and blowing them out to be way bigger deals than they actually are, the things they are picking apart are things that have big fanbases that they accuse of being defensive against any criticism, even if a lot of the things they say about said things are more just personal issues than criticisms, and they seem to think that it’s totally cool to say “I stopped watching ____ a long time ago but I just came back to see if it got better and it didn’t so I’m still not watching it”

Man I think the game grumps are pretty cool and stuff, but people on r/rantgrumps take them way too seriously. I’m not saying that the Grumps are completely devoid of criticism, but some of the complaints on there a bit ridiculous. They completely talk shit about them in a non-constructive way and then they get mad about the Grumps not interacting with the fans. Granted some of the Suzy backlash is warranted because she didn’t handle some of the comment to her very well. Some Grumps fans are just plain ol’ mean.

the /r/rantgrumps rant on suzy makes me so mad because they’re calling her out for defending herself and the other grumps from rude fans, and hating her for pulling the sexism card even though i’m pretty sure that’s why most suzy haters hate her, and EVERYONE in the thread agrees even though all the points OP made are complete bullshit
