today i was at the grocery store self checkout and the couple next to me had a little girl and she was choosing a kinder egg. there were pink ones and blue ones, and the girl picked the blue. the mom goes "not that one, that's for males, take this one [a pink one]" (literally said "macho", translates to male) and when the girl really didn't want to change the mom picked up the pink and ANOTHER IDENTICAL PINK and goes "do you want the pink or the blue". the girl picked "blue" (aka the second pink one). and it's like.... WHY. why do you have to TRICK HER into not bringing home a blue chocolate egg? why are people still afraid of little girls liking "not girly things". are they so afraid their little precious girl will not want pink dresses? worse.. want to do a man's career??? maybe.... play with trucks instead of dolls?? THE TRAGEDY THAT WOULD BE
