I still remember drawing us as Purelily before February last year and in my head I was like “I love Purelily so much romantically!!! But surely this is platonic!” Insert us dating months later.

i hate to say it but i dont think rise donnie is a huge dinosaur fan. im not saying that he doesnt like them, but at best hes a casual enjoyer of dinosaurs.

my reasoning being that he thinks geology is boring. and yeah, if youve got no stakes in it then it absolutely can be. as an avid dinosaur enjoyer myself, the more i learn about paleontology the more i learn about geology because they go hand in hand. its hard to learn more about dinosaurs if you never take the time to learn about the types of rocks theyre found in. doing so can tell you things about the dinosaurs. theres one area in romania that used to be partially submerged and created an island where dinosaurs evolved a little differently and gave us species of dinosaurs like balaur bondoc that are raptors with two retractable claws per foot instead of the usual one. we would have never learned why they evolved differently if no one had taken the time to study the rocks in the area

so, dinosaur and geology fact tangent over. id love for one of the brothers to be big into dinosaurs and i think it would be really cute if it was raph. imagine him as a baby first becoming interested in them. his obsession starts because theyre big and different like him. over time he learns more and more about them and it just grows and snowballs. he tries talking about it to his brothers when theyre all tots, but the others dont get it (mostly bc theyre too young to cling onto an infodump with really big words that raph is struggling to pronounce). they just like the pictures and playing pretend that theyre dinosaurs. so he just continues learning in private. i think it would be funny for them to find out that he knows so much about dinosaurs one day bc they do not remember him being interested in paleontology, just dinosaurs themselves.

Alright. Gonna do some general setting stuff.

Myra is a blooming avatar of the Vast. He's not fully assimilated yet, but he's done enough for the Vast that he's now in that stage where his powers are starting to emerge and occasionally fire off without his consent. Since he can't just dunk people in the Vast at will yet, he currently picks up women on the street, takes them on hiking dates and pushes them off the cliff as sacrifices. He's very friendly and chill other than that, and will have a nice conversation with just about anybody.

Raph is human. He may or may not also be in the process of being hunted by one Nikola Orsinov, and lives in fear. He lives in the country but comes into the city once a week or thereabouts for shots. He's very friendly, but a heaping dose of shyness and social anxiety dampens it - he will absolutely talk to you, sometimes even voluntarily, but he will be visibly having a heart attack the entire time. Currently he's on the highest guard possible, just in case the clown comes for him.

Wes is also human, for now. They had a horrific encounter with the Corruption, after which they developed severe OCD that causes them to avoid human contact as much as possible. Their face is badly scarred from their encounter, so people generally stay away from them to begin with. They only ever leave the house for shopping, and there is a high chance of them hissing at you; however, they can be lured out with sweet treats, information and provocations.

I will RB this with the other three from my other blog, and then again with my sona.

Raphael Kett

17 years old. He/him. Human; marked by several entities. Bisexual.

Raph lives in the country, in a big house with a forest surrounding it. He comes into the city once a week for shots. He's constantly paranoid of the world around him and has minor psychosis as well, but enjoys reading about paranormal activity despite the fact that it makes his hallucinations and paranoia worse.

He's very clingy but doesn't know how to actually be close; he's easy to start talking to but unfathomably hard to get close to. He lies with practically every breath to make people think highly of him, to the point where he doesn't really know who he is, and this yields good results most of the time so he keeps doing it. Outwardly he's kind, a little old-fashioned, and extremely helpful and self-sacrificial.

Raph is scared of a lot of things, but his top three are intruders, embarrassment, and water. He's had terrible experiences with all three of those things before and isn't keen to repeat them. Too bad it's his job to be the punching bag today. Yolo.
