Raphael stares in awe as the once known to him just as the Handler - now Corvus- after but a few blunders, proceeds to craft, with gigantic talon hands, articles of clothing with soft fine yarn.

'The name might not be correct. but that's some strong evidence there.' He dully thinks.

I love the knitting, but the way you wrote that makes me think of weaving. So Corvus (or their family) having a loom is now a thing in my mind.

Love how you drew the Handler and Raph as just. An actual crow and turtle.

I might try to create a humanoid design for them, but I don't know if I'll get enough motivation for it. We'll see.

Handler 🤝 12 Splinter

Spending way too much time with an absolute maniac that will never really listen to them and still dropping advice even though it can possibly get them killed. Despite constantly disregarding their advice, said Maniac still 'respects' them and Associates "aspects of success" with them.

Apparently I just recycle every element of a story at some point. Kid of funny though

Bonus  information About part 1 Proposition: 

Why Does Big Mama consider the Handler a investment a good investment?

 they do their job so damn well and they do it so strangely that she has to make a combinations.

Also they routinely make suggestions “here's how things could be better to run In a humane way How that could impact profits beneficially.”  They are a pro (As much as a moral person can be) at speaking Big Mama's language. 

Whem I wrote them I essentially treated it as 

older rise Raph who tied themselves so heavily to the duty of being an ‘older brother’ (A Handle: in their much less fun case) And never gets a break + also more often than not,  unappreciated.

Has enough level of self-awareness that they would not wish this upon anyone. (It's their cross to Bear to handle all these responsibilities and keep things running)

Does not at all know that they are filled with rage. ( usually at jerk charges and flare ups at big mama for running her business like this)

But mostly instead of anger problems it's like a general anxiety problem Such as having a conscience.

 (If It somehow turns out that The champ can't bake really well. (The Champs swears that he's good) The Handler might whip up something as an alternative (It's not lying, Persay as they are helping his charge. Their charge baking is making them bake. Thus, in conclusion, their charge made this and this is them assisting him) ( The logic is insane but it makes sense to them… much like rise Raph insane logic makes sense to him )

The Handler is probably very similar to Big Mama in that they can think about every angle to a situation, and how it'll impact business.

They're just a Handler, so it's not like they can adjust anything related to the Nexus, but their suggestions for handling the fighters are valuable.

They probably ended up working for the Nexus shortly after Lou Jitsu had been taken (or maybe shortly before? idk), and was one of the biggest reasons the Nexus was able to continue after the beloved champion had stopped fighting.

Big Mama's way of running her business solely for profits and not caring about those who she's destroying to stay up on her pillar of wealth 100% angers the Handler. But there's nothing they can do about it, so they do their best to fix things from their position in her web.

Corvus is really important? They're not just a Handler that's just what they're really good at and I do mean really good? Semi credited for keeping the profits up for after Splinter left. That's because they basically did everything anyone ask them to do (that wasn't immortal) completely above their pay grade without asking anything for return. ( this has a pretty good reputation by workers without a complex in return I can imagine)

Homie quite literally did their job so good that she won't let them go. ( she got attached to them which is bad unless I'm misrememoring if so my bad)

maybe that's something that she tells them that they're replaceable but it's not true? Idk??? Girly is so very toxic and can't have friends without ruining them so they stay by her side sooooo that tracks.

*coughs* yeah so I 100% need to go through my au again because I forgot like. all of this. I love Corvus and their story is really fun but I am much better at remembering main/big points and I have not looked at this in a hot minute.

I'm putting character analysis and established lore in my SRAU to do list with the timeline project because I just say so much stuff it's hard to keep straight.

Timeline checker on the fact that this is the only Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles thing I look at

Raphael thinks corvus is dead after sacrificing themselves to get him to calm down so he doesn't absolutely destroy his brothers when they came to rescue him in blood sport.

I should just assume the worst case scenario for this au honestly. We don't let Raph be happy except for like. 5 moments.

Not a respected employee big oof

They're only a Handler. Their position is to help with the popular fighters and act properly for interviews, make sure they get to fights on time, and basically babysit the person they get assigned to. Most popular fighters are entitled asshole volunteers wanting to be famous and treat everyone they see as lesser poorly. Raph is a breath of fresh air for them.

So no, Big Mama doesn't care for them. She trapped them in her web, and they've been a loyal employee, but not a respected one nor one she pays attention to unless necessary.

The Handler isn't important. They never were.
