That was the only thing Elara recieved. It didn't sound like it would take no for an answer and she didn't dream of even saying that. Her mom and sister would be home soon, so she made it a point to jot a note on a sticky note, telling them where she was. Then she left.

She arrived at the lair within 20 or so minutes and the first thing she noticed was absolute silence. It was weird for a household normally so loud. Was Donnie even here?

Her question was immediately answered by the sound of a door opening that broke the silence. She followed the sound to her right to see Mikey in front of his room. His face was very obviously stained with dried tears, even from where she stood. He raised his hand to point toward Donnie's room across from his. She gestures a thank you as she darts for it.

Donnie's already opened the door by the time she reached it and she ran into him. He widened his eyes and grasped her shoulders.

"Are you okay?"

His expression seemed genuine. She looked up at him.

"I should be asking you that. You're the one that told me to come."

His shoulders sagged. "Right," he carefully walked her backwards and reached past her to close the door.

"Where are Raph and Leo?" she asked softly.

"Out," he continued going back until they could both sit on his bed.

"...were they fighting again?"

He didn't answer, lowering his hands to rest his forehead on her shoulder in replacement. The quiet is all the response she needs.

"I'm so sorry, Donnie."

She wrapped her arms around his back tentatively. Her finger lightly pressed against his shell and he flinched away from the touch. She tried again, feeling him relax into it this time.

"They'll come back," she whispered. "They always do."

Her clothes stick to her skin from drips. She doesn't address it, knowing he'd probably pull back to wipe them away if she did. She elected to just hold him even tighter.

I’m Bored… Let’s do Something Fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As I hope some people know, I have two main ROTTMNT OCs: my panther chameleon yōkai, Xsis, and my wood turtle mutant, Woody. I love them very much, but I haven’t written them in a while (perspective wise), so I feel like I’m loosing touch with who they are.

So, I have a proposal:

You guys, yes, YOU, can go to my asks and send me information about your ROTTTMNT ocs (references, basic personality info, important experiences, whatever) and I will share how Xsis and Woody could form a relationship with them as platonic friends, enemies, and maybe even attraction oooooooo (Xsis gets a partner later in the story I’m writing, and Woody is a very sad single pringle).

No one has to do this, it’s mostly just for fun!

Teenaged June

At long last, we have teenaged June!!

Her redesign wasn’t huge, it was mostly just updating her into my current art style and kirin standards, and changing her hair color. She looks much better with black hair than she does blonde lmao, Ik the thought process behind it was that it’d be the one color trait from her mom but it was NOT working so she gets her dad’s hair instead.

Mikey learned ASL to communicate with June, as the only sounds she can hear are really high pitched whistles and the like. She likes her Papá much more than her mom atp, as Mei struggles with communicating on her level due to the way Mei was raised and the newness of Deafness to her. There’s just some misconceptions and prejudices Mei is still working through that June is definitely affected by, which causes some conflict between the two.
