The start of the new decade brought with it changes. Ever since Margaret was widowed, William’s twin brother Raphael, had moved in to help and with the help came a blossoming relationship that the two decided to make official when Margaret learned that she was with child once more.
Maria turned 18 and moved a few towns away to marry a man named Bernardo Soto. She felt lucky that he was very attractive to her and that he seemed very kind. While she felt horrible that her mother had made a terrible match for her cousins, she was grateful that her own match had been made with love.
Agnes’s sister-in-law had two sons and a daughter with various fathers. Her eldest had already married and was the father of a daughter but her second son turned 18 with the new decade and Ambrose wasted no time making sure that his daughter married him. So little time was spent going ahead with the wedding that Patricia went into labor with her daughter during the ceremony. Thankfully, the day went well with a new granddaughter named Amy and a son-in-law for Ambrose. Unfortunately, Patricia was not fond of the crying of the baby.
