Fact: Raphael the Raven is a Raven that Kamek enlarged with his magic in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. He fought a Blue Yoshi and Baby Mario on a small moon.

He later became the master and guardian of Lavalava Island, an agent of the Stars and an ally of Yoshi and Mario.

I will never not love the background of Raphael the Raven's boss fight. The whole fight taking place on a small moon with a Goonie constellation in the space half.

It's also really nice how, in Paper Mario, Raphael (and some other Ravens) live in peace at Yoshi's Island. They're friends now!
