papa Raph has been on my brain these past few days, mostly thanks to this post by @tapakah0 so cute augh and all these doodles are inspired by it. These are also from part of the story I have surrounding Cass and Casey in the events after the kraang invasion, which I someday plan on making a comic for.

Future Raph and April are thick as thieves. The oldest sibling solidarity is strong, they work as a tag team for the team’s well being. Even though they have a ton of solo missions because lack of people, they check in with each other at least once everyday and go down a checklist of what happened and who needs what. Leo needed a hug today cuz he was stressed, and Donnie’s been skipping meals again, so we should try harder for family dinners again. April made sure Mikey had a break, and Raph restocked the food supply. Check check check. the fun side to being the oldest you have Prank Rights that your younger sibs can’t argue against. Since I also headcanon Mikey as becoming more secluded as he focuses on becoming a Mystic Warrior, April/Raph duo make sure that the fun doesn’t stop. It also gives Mikey a break from having to be the moral officer. The result of two moral officers is pranks always end up becoming a full scale seige on everyone and the whole family gets wrapped up in it so much that the base turns into a mini war zone. the pranks themselves usually are something like tricking your victim into taking care of themself (Donnie) or making illusions that confuse people. The fake kitchen cutout was something Leo was too proud of to let die.
