A - Arguments (What they are like after an argument...)

marco is quite stubborn but not in an egotistical way. he never likes being the reason that you’re stressed or upset but at the same time, he struggles to initially realise what he’s done wrong. so after an argument, he’d pull you into a hug and apologise quickly, whispering the sweetest of words into your ear.

if the argument was really bad and tempers started to flair, marco would give you time to gather your thoughts before trying to reconcile with you.

B - Body care (What they do to look after you...)

weekly baths. usually, it ends with nothing sexual. it’s the only time where both of you can be calm and just enjoy each other’s company without having to worry about anything else. marco’s tense body finally relaxes in the warm water and feeling your fingers coarsing through his hair is enough.

C - Cuddles (How good are their cuddles...)

marco usually keeps one hand around your waist so that he can eaisly pull you into a hug whenever he’s missed your body up against his. when it’s just the two of you, he doesn’t mind being the little spoon and feeling your frame keeping him warm.

D - Dream (What's the dream for you as a couple...)

one day marco would love to call you ‘his’. officially. he wants to put a ring on your finger and show you off to anyone & everyone he sees. but the real dream for marco is to create a human life that has your eyes and smile.

E - Emotion (How emotional they are...)

marco tries (and always fails) to hide his emotions. he doesn’t want to burden you; he’s not always around and he doesn’t want to drop the mood when you guys finally have some time together. but when it all becomes too much, marco gives in and puts his head on your shoulder and lets it all out.

F - Family (What do your family think of them...)

your father adores marco; they go to watch football games together whenever marco’s in town and go hang out at your father’s favourite bar. your mother however, is a bit apprehensive around marco because of his career choice but eventually, she fell for that famous smile just like you.

if you have any brothers or sisters, marco would go meet on with them like a house on fire, seeing it as an excuse to learn some funny things about you that he could eventually use against you.

G - Giving (Are they generous...)

he loves giving you trinkets from other cities he’d been to due to his travels! fridge magnets from england, sweets from germany and fancy lingerie from paris from time to time

H - Happy (When they're at their happiest...)

when he’s on the pitch, feeling the air around and the ball at his feet. he loves his job and hopes it’ll last forever. he’s also happy when you’re around; you’re that extra push he needs to do his best. to him, nothing else matters except your happiness.

I - Independence (How much they rely on you...)

marco relies on you for the small things: emotionally support, good food and kisses. sometimes you don’t even have to speak, you’ve both been able to communicate without having to talk.

J - Jokes (The jokes they tell...)

his jokes are like a school child’s, childish humour that isco would expect his little boy to say. marco’s joke are either short and hilarious or long and boring. but everyone laughs nonetheless.

K - Kids (How they are around children...)

when he first met your nephew, you could’ve sworn you watched marco’s heart melt. those brown eyes couldn’t keep their eyes off him. he loves meeting children and can’t wait to have his own little’uns running circles around him.

L - Love (What they love most about you...)

he loves your body. marco’s a very handy person and just can’t stop himself from grabbing onto something just to bring you close to him, even if it’s your waist. he loves the feeling of your warm skin against his.

M - Mystery (How open/honest they are...)

marco is very honest with his emotions; he doesn’t like to bottle things in and doesnt minding sitting down to have a deep chat with you about anything that worries you or him.

N - Nicknames (What's they're nickname for you...)

‘princesa’ is marco’s favourite thing to call you. at first it was a joke, established after the first time he saw you on your period, but now, it’s grown on both of you.

O - Optional (Something random...)

one of things you and marco love to do together is karaoke. most of the time, it’s just to have an excuse to sing a great song terribly but you can’t help but smile like an idiot when marco sings a romantic ballad directed at you.

P - Presents (What they like to buy for you...)

marco loves to buy you presents! from the generic teddy bear to clothes you begged him not to get you because they were too expensive. he loves to see the smile grow on your face and if he could, marco would bottle the moment and save it forever.

Q - Quantity (How long until something takes place in your relationship...)

your first kiss happened on the third date. it was soft and light, filled with smiles and giggles. you moved in with each other after dating for a year. your first time together however, happened a long time after that but marco was willing to wait. he’d do anything for you.

R - Romance (How romantic are they...)

marco isn’t an intentional romantic. he does romantic things without actually putting much thought into it. he was always brought up to buy flowers, cook dinner, and throw compliments like it’s the norm.

S - Spark (How the spark stays alive in your relationship...)

one word. spontaneity. from late night drives so you can watch the sunrise to mini road trips. marco is unpredictable when it comes to date nights but you live for it.

T -  Trust (How trusting they are...)

marco isn’t that trusting. in his career, he feels like he is constantly surrounded by ‘fake people’ so it took him a long time to become comfortable around you. he hasn’t told you his deepest secrets yet but it’s a start.

U - Upset (How they cheer you up...)

marco would grab the closest speaker and start dancing around. he’s knows his dancing is more comical than professional but he’ll do anything to put a smile on your face.

V - Victory (How they feel about you...)

he feels like he’s won the lottery. he adores every part of you and he’s here for the long term; through the bad times and the good. marco couldn’t imagine going through life without anyone else by his side.

W - Wind Up (What they do that annoys you...)

he forgets things. sometimes they’re important, and sometimes it’s not that bad, but it still bugs you none the less. marco would forget to do his share of chores and still be confused why the laundry basket. the spaniard has to be told by his teammates when it’s your anniversary to make sure he doesn’t lose his head.

X - xxx (How good are their kisses...)

marco likes to take one side of your face and tilt it so that you don’t headbutt each other. he likes to lightly bite onto your bottom lip before working his magic on your neck.

Y - Yummy (Can they cook...)

marco loves to cook for you! his mother taught him some of her most iconic meals for the moment he gets a girlfriend. now you can say you’re lucky enough to eat traditional asensio family food.

Z - Zzz (How the two of you like to sleep...)

marco lays on his back with your head resting on his chest. he has one hand making circles on your stomach and the other outstretched. however underneath the sheets, you feet are entangled together. at first glance, it’s a very conventional couple sleeping position. but you guys are anything but conventional.

WARNINGS: pure fluff!

six years is a long time to be in love. marco thought, fiddling with the small black box in his hands.

when he met bella six years ago at a mutual friend’s party, marco knew that what he had with bella was something. a year of being young and messing with each other’s hearts passed, bringing them closer together. all of marco’s teammates (especially isco!) referred to bella as marco’s wife, even though the couple had never discussed or considered marriage.

it was night, at least marco guessed. ever since bella and him has arrived at isco’s party, he’d lost track of time. the streets of madrid were busy and the annoying hun of traffic played through isco’s home at suprisingly low volume. as marco walked through their isco’s house, he heard the distinctive laugh of his girlfriend.

marco imagined what it would be like. what it would be like to live this life forever; to be with the woman he loved forever and live out the rest of his life with bella by his side. and to watch as her chest rised against his own whilst she fell asleep. and to hear her ridiculous laugh every time he told a terrible joke.

bella was sat on the kitchen counter wearing one of marco’s t-shirts loosely hanging on her midriff and a pair of shorts, a bowl of strawberries with a beer bottle next to her exposed thigh. she was talking to isco’s wife, when her eyes landed upon marco’s. her eyes were another thing that he found beautiful about her; the small specks of gold in her dark brown eyes along with her unmistakable freckles dotted around her nose.

“i guess i’ll leave you two alone.” isco’ wife stated, taking it as her cue to leave.

bella sighed as isco’s wife left the kitchen, vacating the room which meant that marco and bella were finally alone.

“hello handsome.”

marco jumped slightly, not realising he had been out in a psychedelic trance by bella, who had only said two words. her normal straightened black hair cascaded down her shoulders in its natural curls (which was marco’s favourite hairstyle on bella) covered her deep dimples from the world. marco couldn’t hide his dumb smile as he approached his girlfriend, hiding the small black box behind his back. he knew that now wouldn’t be the right time and marco didn’t really want to ruin such a wholesome moment between them.

trying to fight off the small amount of alcohol in his system, marco positioned his body in between bella’s legs and rested his head on her shoulder. bella couldn’t deny that whenever she was in marco’s presence, a smile would instantly appear on her face. she knew it was wrong to be so emotionally attached to someone, especially with how dispensable people can be nowadays, but bella couldn’t help it. marco asensio was infectious, someone you couldn’t give up easily.

he was the man who would send bella massive bouquets of roses whenever he was away for a game, along with the occasional giant teddy bear. marco was the man who always listened to whatever she gave to say and always respected her boundaries.

marco would always make sure that she was alright emotionally, wanting to talk about everything and anything that could possibly worry bella. marco was just the perfect man and bella knew that she’d never met anyone like him in her lifetime.

bella started with a small kiss on his lips, allowing herself to savour the familiar taste. just as she was going for another delicate kiss, marco smashed his lips onto hers, not giving bella a second to breath. as they pulled apart, bella kept one hand on marco’s shoulder, allowing themselves to catch their breath.

“geez, someone’s in a good mood.” marco chuckled, before bella brought her lips onto his again.

bella hummed against his lips, using her free hand to run through marco’s hair lightly. marco relished for that feeling of contact between the two, using his arms to grab onto her hips and pull bella even closer to him. before the kiss could lead anywhere that wasn’t the kitchen, bella pulled away (much to the displeasure of marco) and grabbed a strawberry from the bowl.

“gosh, how can you manage to switch from sexy to cute in under a second?” marco stated, taking a bite of the strawberry bella had presented.

bella chuckled in reply, planting a delicate kiss on his cheek. nothing else mattered to her expect marco and she knew her boyfriend reciprocated the feeling. marco pulled bella into a hug, allowing themselves to escape into another world, completely forgetting about the people who were now flooding back into the kitchen. until her hand fell upon something hard (that wasn’t marco’s ‘friend’).

“marco, what’s this?”

in such a small amount of time, marco was quickly taken back down to the ground. in bella’s hand, was the small black box he had been carrying earlier. everyone in the room had gone silent, watching with baited breath at the scene that was unfolding. marco was speechless, which didn’t help him in the situation.

“marco, can you say something please?” bella whispered into his ear, stroking the side of his face.

the small strokes along his face brought down marco’s anxiety levels, reminding him that he wasn’t alone. as he stared into bella’s eyes, maroc could feel himself relaxing. bella has that effect in him; when marco would become stressed, bella would always be able to bring him back to a state of calm. marco rubbed the back of his neck, realising how awkward he made isco’s party.

he took the box from bella’s hand and got down onto one knee. but when he watched bella’s confused face become even confused, marco rushed back up to his feet, smoothing down his shirt. just as he was about to say anything, marco got heckled by one of his teammates.

“hurry up marco!”

marco looked over and glared at isco, who had received a slap around the back of the head from his wife. marco took another deep breath and finally said what he’d been waiting what seemed like a lifetime to say.

“i know you don’t like labels, so will you be my married-person-thing?”

marco could feel the oxygen levels drop in the room, his throat going dry and his palms becoming sweaty. bella pulled on his heartstrings even when she didn’t mean to. god, she was breathtaking.

“of course i’ll be your married-person-thing!”

at first, marco was shocked. he didn’t actually expect his very casual proposal to work but there he was, looking his fiancée in the eye. marco smiled, a stupidly happy smile crossed his face. he pulled bella into a sweet kiss, holding onto her face, wishing he’d never have to pull away.

the small diamond sparkled in the nightlight, but not like bella’s eyes. those eyes that he could fall in love with all over again and never get bored. marco would gladly stare into those beautiful eyes all day. but in that moment, marco could’ve sworn that he had found infinity in those deep brown eyes.

six years is a long time to be in love. marco thought.

but it’s worth it.

based off request: Can you write a Marco Asensio imagine where he gets badly injured during a match?

PARINGS: marco asensio x you (the reader)

WARNINGS: swearing!

marco hated hospitals. they held bad memories for him and every time he came to one, he could feel the wounds being opened all over again. the beeping of the machines, the cries of family members and the overall feeling of dread that hung over the building was enough to make marco curl up in anxiety.

then he saw you, the light in his darkness, the one constant that will he would never let change. you were asleep in a seemingly uncomfortable position on the hospital chair, keeping one hand on his. you had that cashmere jumper on that he bought you last christmas, unconsciously rubbing it against your skin. in so much chaos, you made peace in marco’s heart.

stupidly, marco tried to move, which made a loud groan of pain to escape his lips. you shot up out of your seat, scared that something might’ve happened to your fiancé.

“babe, what are you doing?” you sleepily asked, taking ahold of his hand.

visually, marco was in pain. but he’d never let himself look like he was in pain because then he’d only worry you.

“i was about to ask you the same thing.” he replied, running his finger along your engagement ring.

for a moment, you both stayed silent, not wanting to talk about what happened. marco remembered pieces of what had happened: the crunch sound his ankle made, the medical team putting his body in the stretcher, the well wishes of his teammates & his barcelona opponents and his fiancée’s whimpers as he got whisked away in an ambulance.

marco also remembered the hours before, where he proposed. it was everything he wanted it to be; in front of the madrid sunset by the beach with a beautiful view and a beautiful girl. everything he ever wanted...

to be injured in an el classico game absolutely destroyed marco. marco was never really worried about getting injured because it had never happened before; which is why when this happened, he broke. he wasn’t mentally or emotionally ready to deal with not playing football and eventhough he wasn’t ready to admit it, you could tell by how glassy marco’s eyes were.

luckily, the bed was big enough for the both of you. marco knew he probably shouldn’t, should he aggravate his doctor or his injury but he couldn’t care less. he just needed to be with his girl. slowly, marco scooter along the bed, giving you enough room to lay next to him. you rested your head against his chest, listening to his calming heartbeat.

small tears started to fall down his face and that started to break you. marco cried every once in a while, but it was a rarity and when he did show vulnerability, it made him even more admirable. he tried to wipe them away but you stopped him, taking ahold of his hand and kissing it.

“hey, they’ll be other classicos.” you stated, wiping away his tears.

“i know, i know.” he whispered, trying to fight back the tears that appeared on his cheeks.

marco calmed down with you by his side, letting all his emotions spill in your presence. in silence, you allowed marco to release everything he had been feeling in front of you. that was another plus in your relationship, in vulnerable moments, nothing has to be said.

after a while, marco took your hand and kissed your engagement ring, letting you know how much he loves you. how he’d never be able to live without you by his side. marco knew that the rehab would be tough and that there would be some days when he’d want to give it all up. but with you, marco knew he could go through hell & back... and still make it out alive. because forever and always, means forever and always.

based off request: heyy! if you are taking requests could you do a fluffy Rafinha one where the reader and him are friends for a while and he realises he loves her, something like that?✨

WARNINGS: mostly fluff with hints of angst!

“please, i need you.”

that sentence repeated through rafinha’s mind as he drove down the street, keeping his foot on the accelerate pedal. he would’ve been there sooner if he hadn’t stopped at the convenience store to buy everything he need. as the seconds passed by, rafinha cursed under his breath and tried to get to her home quicker (within the speed limit). rafinha parked his car in the driveway, trying to analyse the situation he was walking into.

her home was quiet; a soft light glowed from her living room window, which rafinha could only assume came from her television. with two grocery bags by his side, rafinha struggle to get the key out of his back pocket. he couldn’t exactly remember when samira had given him a key to her home, but he was glad he had it in this situation.

rafinha barged through the door, seemingly not understanding the idea of being quiet but the sight he saw, was not pretty. her house was freezing cold, no heat running through the walls. there was broken glass on the floor followed by the flowers that were scattered beside them. roses; samira’s favourite flower.

rafinha released the hold of the bags, letting them fall to the floor without a care. he rushed over to samira’s seemingly lifeless body, i. samira was sat at the top of the stairs, head in her hands. instinctively, rafinha put his arms around samir, using his hand to stroke her hair.

“shh, i’m here.” rafinha whispered, his calming tone

anger began to boil in rafinha. anyone who made samira sad instantly became public number one in rafinha’s eyes. samira didn’t deserve to be upset; she’s so much good in a world of pure chaos. she was such a vibrant person in day to day life, samira was now a lifeless person in the shell of who she once was.

“he met someone else. someone better than me.” samira whispered through whimpers and tears.

it took every bit of rational in rafinha’s being to stop himself from shouting. how rafinha longed to stroke her cheeks, wipe away her tears and tell her she was worth it. that she was worth every star in the sky, that she was worth every coin in the world and that she was worth every second in the day.

rafinha had always been in his shadow. no matter how much bad he could do, samira would not see how wrong that her boyfriend (now ex-boyfriend) was for her. and to now find out that he had left samira for some apparently ‘better’, rafinha felt insulted for her. nothing nor no one, was better than samira. her kind nature and loving heart were one of a kind and could not be replicated.

two tubs of premium ice cream later, rafinha had finally gotten through to samira. she was no longer crying hysterically and she looked to have visibly calmed down. but rafinha had no clue what was going on in her mind.

samira hadn’t said a word but rafinha could only assume what his best friend needed. and that was support, which was all he had to offer. she had wrapped herself in her sheets, in a cocoon of her raw emotions. rafinha didn’t mean to stare at body: watching her covered up chest rise up and down and how her nose scrunched up was a sight for sore eyes.

the pair of friends were laid at opposite ends of the bed, wrapped in the same blanket and sharing the same warmth. rafinha hadn’t pressured samira to explain every little detail of what happened, but every so often, he could feel his heart being twisted. whenever he saw samira in a dejected state, it broke his little brazilian heart.

but just as he was about get into the bed and fall asleep, he looked over samira’s shoulder and frowned. a framed picture of samira wrapped in the arms of her ex-boyfriend, looking happier than she was right now. rafinha went against his better judgement and walked over to samira’s side of the bed; flipping the frame over so he could no longer see his face.

now comfortable, rafinha entered his side of the bed. the distance between them allowed rafinha to think. think about what he was going to do when morning came. samira never liked thinking about times when she felt vulnerable; so she forgot it. and rafinha didn’t want her to always be strong. samira held so many thoughts and demons inside her head; never finding an outlet and she made sure to push them to the back of her mind until they eventually overpowered her being.

rafinha sighed, before turning onto his side to face samira’s back. he could still her whimpering. all he wanted to do was grab her by the waist and hold her tight; tell her everything was going to be alright. tell her that he loved her.

suddenly, the space between them started to shrink. rafinha didn’t question it, assuiming that samira was a restless sleeper as she shuffled along the bed. then next thing he knew, samira’s back was up against his chest.

“thanks rafinha.”

rafinha was glad that samira wasn’t looking at him so she couldn’t see the stupid smile across his face. he wrapped his arms around her wiast, pulling her closer to his body. as he held her close, smelling the soft hunts of her peach shampoo fill his nose. surprisingly, samira fit into his body like a glove, as if that was where she belonged the whole time. he planted a kiss on samira’s forehead, feeling her relax onto his skin.

and for the rest of the night (including the early hours of the morning) rafinha held samira tightly up against him. to think he was ever gonna let her go...

Second, can I request a Kepa imagine, maybe one where you're both like each other a lot but there's a language barrier because you don't speak spanish and his english is not the best? WARNINGS: slight angst!

it was a cold october night and kepa didn’t want to be stuck in a ballroom with a stupid mask on his face. when eden invited him to his annual masquerade ball, kepa knew he couldn’t deny the belgium, even when if his heart was telling him to not to accept the invitation.

but here he was, with a black mask covering the top of his face and the specialist drink provided at the bar, standing by a tablecloth covered table. kepa felt so out of place that his mind was slowly going numb. as his eyes scowered the dance floor, his brown eyes stopped at familiar black locks.

there she was. kepa didn’t known who she was; all he did know was her name. isla. she was dancing alongside some other woman, her white dress showing off her beautiful figure. the red mask she was wearing completely defeated the kepa’s mission; his mission was just stare at isla until it became a respectable time to leave.

at the majority of parties he had seen her at, kepa noticed that she was an introvert just like him; adding another to list of things kepa adored about isla. he could tell when she felt genuine emotion and when she was just putting on a show for everyone else around her.

“you alright kepa?”

kepa had been too busy staring into thin air not realise that isla had caught his absent gaze and decided to make her way over to kepa. but now isla was standing in front of kepa, his words were lost. how could kepa find the words (in english or spanish) to describe how beautiful isla was?

isla couldn’t work out what was going through his head. he was just staring and nothing had left his mouth apart from the word ‘hi’. isla wanted to tell kepa everything that she felt: that he looked handsome in a suit, that she could get lost in his brown eyes and that his smile was stupidly adorable. but one thing kepa did which she didn’t like, was leave her speechless.

her smile turned into a frown, preparing to walk away from what she thought was a hopeless crush when kepa took hold her arm and spun her back around. but that action had more consequences than slight whiplash. it happened in slow motion. the red drink spilling over her white dress and the quiet shriek that left her mouth.

kepa was embarrassed; he had a crush on isla ever since he had seen her at kepa’s introduction party (another event hosted by eden). the only problem was that kepa had never spoken to her. not because he didn’t want to. occasionally, he’d pluck up enough courage to walk over to her but his english kept him away from saying a word. but now, he’d ruined her dress.

kepa murmured a few words in spanish , pulling tissues from on top of the bar and patting them on her dress. isla knew she had to leave before she burst out into an ugly cry. with small tears spilling down her cheek, she ran over to the bathroom. kepa watched in mere shock as that bathroom door slammed shut. kepa murmured a curse under his breath as he watched someone he loved, run and hide.

it was much later into the night and kepa hadn’t seen isla at all ever since the incident. people were slowly shuffling out of the door but the music was still playing rampant.

as goalkeeper, he could never show that he was nervous. but in this one incident, kepa wore his heart on his sleeve. his eyes surveyed the room, hoping to fall upon isla’s doe eyes once more. in the corner of the large ballroom, eden was talking to isla and trying make sense of what was going on. as well as being an incredible host, eden also saw himself as cupid.

eden, as the handsome host, decided to matters into his own hands. he took an unexpecting isla’s hand and pulled her along the dance floor behind him.

the overwhelming fear of rejection filled isla’s body and she felt like curling up inside. but then, kepa took ahold of her hand, caressing isla’s fingers ever so slightly. isla felt safe, even though she couldn’t fully communicate with kepa. in such a crowded room, just with their hands touching, kepa and isla felt like the

“hi.” kepa stated, his spanish accent still present and a model like smile.

the smile that grew on kepa’s face was enough to outshine the sun. isla’s smile quickly matched the radiant glow of kepa’s and befor they knew it, they were a pair of smiling idiots. and for the first time that night, kepa felt like he had fallen broken down a barrier.
