shopping around -- eden&&open
Eden hated shopping, unless it was for food. Clothing and accessories weren't exactly things she was overly fond of and yet, it had to be done. Eden was starting work in little under a week and she needed to have the right attire for her new job. This wasn't seminars and lectures, this wasn't conversations at a local coffee shop about Shakespearean literature and this wasn't conversations with the Dean about possible publications in the future. This was her first real job since graduating, this was her first chance to really make money doing what she loved to do. She needed to make an impression.
Strolling down the piazza, Eden looked in the windows of small shops and scanned over their assortments of goods; such lovely things in Tuscany. Bright colors, tightly woven fabrics and beautiful designs, such splendor. So why did she hate it so much? Eden was never a girly girl, she never had a mother to take her shopping and show her what looked good. All she had was the occasional trip to Venice with her Aunt or the trips her Aunt took here and they would wander around the shops in Naples. Eden didn't have a good staple when it came to clothes. "This is going to be harder than I thought." Eden muttered to herself, Italian accent thick with displeasure.
Opting for the nearest store, Eden ventured inside with a quick look around. She needed business attire, something that looked good and worked well with her line of work. Curator and Historian, such powerful titles and Eden couldn't be more pleased with how her hard work had paid off. So, with a light heart and determination in mind, Eden walked over to a nearby rack and began looking through items.
