With no set direction, both Dana Coppa and SPEAK wrote 24 bar verses. At that time Uni-Fi was working with GREAT, recently meeting and talking about possible future ventures, this song was on the table and we reached out to Great to write and lay a hook as we learned he was a singer as well as rapper and producer.... the song got to be too long, we slashed the verses to make it a decent length, but the emcees were not feeling how the lyrics mashed with the beat. There it sat until a month or two ago when we were compiling ideas for "VII Days". Dana had suggested we make a remix and have Vincent VanGREAT be part of the re-construction. We stripped the beat and started from scratch building the new instruments and drums to existing vocals.....
