[Rascal hums]

<< Yeah, but what would you do if it turned midnight while I was still there with you? That probably wouldn't end well for either of us >>

[Catching what you've said about him and Wynter, he visibly blue screens for a few seconds, processing the implications before he grins again, both brows lifting in amusement]

<< Oh, I'm sure we will. If we have enough time, maybe I can convince her to go for a spin on the rink with me >>

Duly noted good sir. *I grin at him* C'mon kiddo. Let's head to Badger Bowl. I'll grab a burger and we can play some games before I have to duck and dodge everyone. You wanna come with Rascal? *I ask the raccoon while take Cosette's hand*

[Cosette beams up at you and claps her hands, bouncing a little in excitement. Rascal tilts his head, seeming to contemplate the offer before sighing]

<< Wish I could, little buddies. It's getting late though, so I should probably track down Wynter and get us back to our rooms. We'll be let out again after midnight, but... I doubt you'd wanna see what that's like >>

Oooooh you're not a masked bandit, you're a super hero! *I cheer making grabby hands at the coupon book* Thank youuuuu

[Rascal arches an eyebrow again and hands you the coupon booklet, still grinning as he looks at you]

[He pauses to ruffle your hair]

<< There's some freebies in there too, I think. You can only use one at a time per food stall, but I think you can use two at a time if you go to the cafe in Badger Bowl. The cycle resets at midnight every night, so you can come back the next day to use more coupons >>

[The raccoon leans down a little, glancing around as if he's checking to make sure no one's listening before he whispers]

<< All the food places are tended by bots, so it wouldn't be hard to trick their facial recognition >>

*After giving Cosette a curious look after that last little nugget I look up at Rascal with a smile* As much as I love pizza, I've had it for my last 3 meals, so burgers, burritos, chicky nuggies, whatever, anything else sounds good right now.

[He hums in thought, tilting his head as he looks at you and begins digging through one of his pockets]

<< That's fair, I guess. How about I just- >>

[The raccoon pulls out a small coupon booklet and offers the whole thing to you]

<< -give you all of them? Since we don't know how long you plan on sticking around, the least I can do is help you save some money while you're here >>

[Rascal smiles slightly, flipping through some of the pages in the booklet]

<< There's coupons for different pizza and burger specials, we've got hot dogs, tacos, burritos, and nachos, and you could also use some of the coupons to get drinks and desserts, too >>

Oh yeah? Maybe I should have saved it for tonight then. *I tease sucking on the piece doubting the energy thing. I mean who gives energy boosting stuff to kids??? Spotting Rascal I wave at him* Hey again, friend of mine said you might have some coupons for cheap food you might be willing to give me?

[The mime giggles, and despite the sound, a hint of some other emotion flickers across her expression]

{There were other ones that put kids to sleep, too. They used to be handed out before naptime, since the daytime attendant was too fidgety to put the kids to sleep sometimes by himself}

[Perking up as you call out to him, the animatronic raccoon turns to look at you and grins, playfully arching an eyebrow]

<< That I do. Is there a specific food that you want coupons for, or?.... We've got all the major food chain stuff, but our main dish is pizza >>

Ohhhh~ *I say quietly leaning into Poppy*

[One of Wynter's ears twitch as Rascal begins to approach her, and she lets out a soft sigh, as if she already knows what's about to happen. The wolf turns to face him, her mouth already open to say something, but she falls silent as soon as Rascal offers her the paper flower. The raccoon gives her a small smile, appearing vaguely flustered]

<< For you. The kids said you might like flowers, and since I can't go out and get you a real one, I thought this might be ok >>

[Wynter stares at him for a few seconds, needing to process his words before she notices the pair of children that are huddled behind him, looking up at her with wide, hopeful eyes. Wanting to keep them happy, she looks back at Rascal, puts on a small, maybe slightly flustered smile, and gingerly accepts the paper flower]

<< Thanks, Rascal. It's pretty... I like it >>

[The two children behind the raccoon smile widely, fidgeting in excitement as she accepts his offering, and Rascal himself begins to relax again]

<< Anytime, m'lady. I uh... I'll catch up with you later, ok? For now, I have some kits to run up to Betta's Bakery >>

[Poppy and Cosette watch quietly as the two say their goodbyes, with the panther smiling to himself the entire time]

Ah right sorry. I've only had adrenaline and no coffee this morning so brains not working all the way *I knock at my skull playfully sticking out my tongue* Thanks for the assist.

[The raccoon chuckles, offering you a playful salute]
