Rashita headcanon
I wanted to add these in this post itself, but I was (am) too lazy asf
• When Ulfat was pregnant with their second child, Rehman had to travel out of town for a few days for work. Naturally, little five-year-old Rashita took it upon herself to be the big girl of the house and sleep in the big bed with her mumma. However, Rashu had a habit of tossing, turning, and slightly kicking in her sleep. Even at five, she understood that her mumma’s tummy was special and needed protecting. Before turning off the lights, Rashita dragged a long, fluffy bolster pillow right down the middle of the mattress, creating a soft wall between them. She carefully took Ulfat’s hand, placed it on top of the pillow, and held onto her mumma's fingers from her side of the barrier. It was her way of staying close and feeling safe without risking a stray midnight kick to the baby.
• At five, Rashita's mind worked faster than her tongue, leading to some of the most adorable, mashed-up words that Rehman and Ulfat secretly never wanted her to outgrow :
-- She would puff out her chest and tell Rehman, "Papa, I have some intopent business with my dolls."
-- Anytime she heard a loud whirring sound outside, she’d run to the window pointing at the sky, yelling, "Mumma, look! A hecitopper!"
-- She would beg for her sauberry ice cream — her absolute favourite treat - with big pleading eyes.
-- Her signature phrase. Every night before closing her eyes, she would hug Ulfat’s tummy and whisper, "Lob u, baby."
