Event Recap: UMD Hip-Hop Conference

Last night was an event to remember as the University of Maryland celebrated yet another successful Hip-Hop Conference. The Conference included people from across the whole DMV area with D&T Brand’s Teddy3D & BSU (Black Student Union) President Beteley Soloman as the event hosts.

The event began with opening performances by Rasnebyu and Thraxxx, who are both natives of the D.C., Maryland area. Following them, Ty Dolla $ign performed and killed the stage. He played all his hits from his Beach House EP like “Irie” & “Or Nah.” Since the event was held in PG (Pretty Girl) County, Ty made sure he brought up all the beautiful woman in attendance to perform his hit song “Paranoid.” If you were in the house, you definitely got a taste of that West Coast lifestyle as he sparked up althroughout his excellent performance.

Last but not least was Mr. Hann himself French Montana, accompanied by Chinx and the Coke Boyz as they closed out the show. Oh and did we forget to mention that Khloe, Yes KHLOE KARDASHIAN was with the South Bronx rapper for the show. French started off with some of his mixtape hits before proceeding to his features like “Work,” and “Nobody,” his single, “Pop That”, and more.
