On that note idk if you remember this but could you reveal who had a traumatic incident in their past with a rasoer

Funnily enough I actually can’t. As they’re still an RO.

It’s mentioned slightly early within the game though!

What's a rasoer?

A Rasoer is a bird that inhabits the north east of Gallinia. Their base size is that of a harpy eagle, but as I've said before they can get much larger. Take Rhothomir, for example, he grew to have the wingspan of at least 22 feet. (He's the largest recorded Rasoer to ever exist.)

The Rasoer have sharp, intelligent eyes that seem to peer into your soul. They're usually the color of the sun, but they can range from earthy tones to sky blue. They have razor sharp talons that many wouldn't want to be on the recieving end of. (Add that to their razor sharp beaks and you have a horrifying combination.) They, also, have beautiful feathers. Ranging from iridescent to deep tones. (Like black or dark brown.) They can also be multicolored with blues and greens mixing beautifully.

However, despite their size the Rasoer move with an effortless grace in the air. Almost as silent as an owl and as quick as any falcon. The Rasoer were made to be the kings/queens of the avian world, and nothing would ever topple them from that perch.

I know it's been a really long time since this was talked about so I wanted to know, can we still get a rasoer as a pet?

I’ve been looking for that post! Have you seen it or can you send me a link of it? I lost my notes surrounding the various “pet” type creatures within a Gallinia.

As of right now that hasn’t changed, but I need that post to make it official. (So, I can make a new, more informative, post on here.)

ahhhh i kinda really wanna see the ros reactions to mc having a Rasoer as a friendly familiar cause you hinted at that being interesting

It is interesting which is why it's going to happen. However, some of their reactions may give some of the secrets I want to keep away. However, I will tell you two that won't. (If that's okay.)

Catherine/Caleb: C would be surprised by the sight of the large bird. Not believing that they were actually seeing one up close. Being even more surprised that it was resting on your shoulder.

Samara/Silas: S would just want to pet it. Of course they know about how dangerous a Rasoer is, but they couldn't help it. I mean look at it!

Oh no i hope we can alleviate those traumatic memories i dont want anyone to be too freaked out sadly i think itll happen anyway (cause the bird seems really cool, also how big are the Rasoer)

You can help alleviate some of the memories, but some things are just too powerful to stop. But time will help the situation as the RO gets comfortable.

Rasoer have the base size of an eagle. (A harpy eagle to be exact.) But some have been known to get much, much larger than that. No one is sure why some do, but they're absolutely terrifying to see. The largest recorded Rasoer was Rhothomir who had the estimated wing span of about 22 feet. And lived to be around 137 years old. Luckily the Rasoer are very friendly and don't normally attack humans (or any of the other species). Because, if they did then that would be a problem.

Im gonna take a guess that its A that had a bad time with Rasoer (kinda hope it isnt E dont wanna make E sad or freaked out with our cool birb)

Surprisingly it's not A (but that's a good guess when you take in account that they're an Avariel).
