a pause, glancing towards the closet. "oh. yeah. that probably makes sense, huh?" clothing first, then prosthetics. probably. honestly they're just gonna go with whatever he says.
when he doesn't let go though, or give further instruction, they hesitate, arms still half around him, trying to figure out the order of this. "I need a little help here, doc," they admit, uncertainty creeping into their tone, "I've got zero problem giving an assist, or backing off and giving privacy, or-" and here, their words falter as something else occurs to them. "this, isn't about the clothes, is it? you, um-" had been emotionally raw as hell, and they shouldn't expect-
a sigh, and a soft, shaky breath. "I won't hold you to it, doc," they promise quietly, something in their words smaller now, "if you've changed your mind."
"Hey." Rasse murmurs, giving you a squeeze, leaning forward to nose at your cheek. "I don't regret what I said. I'm just- just embarrassed by how, well, emotional I got."
"My memory tends to fritz out the more my feelings push the limits of what my paint can provide. Its why I try to avoid it." He admits, softly. "I'm glad I kept it all this time."
He pulls back, heisitant.
"I- I think. Um, siblings? Right? Or did I dream that?"
