“Tails Of Woe” & “Last Loud On Earth” Dual Episode Review
After the mixed bag that was “Kings Of The Con”, we get back to regular Loud House episodes (at their current regular time slot) with the episodes “Tails Of Woe” and “Last Loud On Earth”
First up is “Tails Of Woe” how did the latest episode with Lincoln & his circle of friends (especially focusing on Stella) fare? Let’s take a look.
Was fun seeing all of Lincoln’s friends on the bus. Liam’s little piglet was adorable and Rusty’s painting was just..yea..hehe. And poor Zach having to pick out a menu at the last minute. Especially loved seeing Stella and that wonderful music box.
Zach’s presentation in class got a big laugh from me..at least he got a passing grade. Really felt for Stella when she couldn’t find her music box..I would pretty upset too if something like that went missing.
Got a good laugh at Clyde cancelling the lunch trade and hearing the story about the Rat Beast school legend was fun. I especially liked how Stella took charge in try to solve the mystery of the missing items and how Lincoln stood up for her when they others were initially reluctant to help.
The investigating scenes were fun.. got a good laugh when they found Coach Pacowski dancing..hehe and when they thought they saw the beast (only for it to be Principal Huggins in a wig) and how they distracted him so they could get downstairs.
The scenes in the basement were fun..especially Norm the janitor supposedly battling the beast and Rusty getting taken out by the door after trying to charge it.
The reveal was pretty fun too.. the actual rat (named Cinnamon ) was pretty cute and we got to hear the real story about him..and Norm chewing him out after finding out he was the one who took all the items was also cute. :) Was so happy to see how relieved Stella was to find the music box.
The ending was especially sweet and cute with Stella giving her corn chips to the rat via the vent. :)
This as a very fun and sweet episode. I loved that Stella got to take the lead on this one and it was great how she took charge of the situation and how much time she and Lincoln spent together. The resolution was really sweet as well. :) I really hope we have more episodes focusing on Stella in the future.
Overall I would rank this is as probably my favorite episode centered around Lincoln and his friends to date.
Rating: 92/100
Next up is “Last Loud On Earth” how did the latest Clincoln McLoud episode fare? Let’s take a look.
The movie that Lincoln and Clyde were watching certainly looked fun and it was nice to see Lynn Sr. again. Plus the freeze frame pic of the duo was pretty funny.
Was fun to see them sneak out (via inflatable slide) and was cool to see Lisa’s bunker again (with a very easy to figure out passcode..hehe). Got a good laugh at the silly titles of each of the zombie movies.
Loved the spooky atmosphere of the empty house and neighborhood after they emerged..who knows were everyone went. The first zombie’s shadow looks awfully familiar..and I got a good laugh at the boys talking about how their families would be able to handle the ‘zombies’ (especially the line about about Lola..hehe)
Was fun seeing the boys using similar tactics to handle the situation as the leads in the movie they were watching and got a good laugh at Flip’s automated message while he was gone. The next zombie looks awfully familiar as well..hehe.
Was funny hearing Lola interrupt the mayor over the radio and Rita telling her to give the mic back to the mayor..hehe.
Nice callback with the ‘Zombie Bran’ standee from season 1 and nice choice of spare clothing Clyde.
The reveal was especially fun.. we find out that everyone was evacuated to the mall during a particularly nasty storm and that the ‘zombies’ were actually Lynn Sr and Howard and Harold McBride looking for the boys...poor guys..hehe.
Got another good laugh at everyone knowing that Lisa’s passcode was her birthday..and Lisa being surprised by that was extra cute. The last reveal with Flip was fun too.
This was a very fun and exciting episode. Loved how resourceful the boys were..even if it wasn’t necessary. Loved the callbacks to previous episodes and the reveal was especially fun. This was a Clincoln McLoud episode done right.
Rating: 94/100
