Going out like

Do I smell (what about the shoes, did I get them wet, did they go bad, did I step in anything)

And then I never get an answer because 99% of people would never say it to my face ffs

Dunno if this is common for terriers w birds but if she's outside a say 20m radius of Her House my dog doesn't give a shit

Birds remain 98% Unchased because she is On A Walk and the only exceptions are:

1. She recognises one of the local birds from our yard and it's her mortal enemy for .1 seconds before it flies away and no longer exists (they perch on the verandah where she can see but not reach as she is approx. 2 bananas tall and this fills her with rage)

2. Peacocks (feral) which are her size and therefore Very Intimidating when she can't yell at them through a protective door

Decisions decisions

Pre poll voting at my place:

- can get it over with during the week

- don't have to do the envelope

- democracy sausage available?

- have to arrange own transport

- has to be during my after work destress time

- social awkwardness interaction of 'no I don't want your pamphlet'

- will still get ads afterwards the whole week

Dec voting at parent's place:

- I get to breeze by the pamphlet gauntlet with an 'I don't live here'

- takes up part of Saturday

- get a ride from my brother

- say hi to AEC employees I know in the area

- have to fill in the envelope

- democracy sausage available?

- can be any time of the day, can even sleep in

- last day of bloody ads

And have beaten the record for 'how close I've ever been to a wild snake'

Dream Diary of a sort - unpleasantness

hmmm.

Been having stress dreams, unusual for me as I usually don't get anything nightmare leaning.

Characterised not by fear? so much as by waking up at 4/5am with a clear image/concept of something stressful, going back to sleep and dreaming of it again. Only happens once a week as well.

Descriptions below cut for self reflective purposes

Last week had me convinced my cousin was dead, very upsetting until I could reconvince my brain he was fine (he is, I checked)

This week was the concept of being found irl by "something truly evil" from the world of horror, despite the fact that I haven't fully activated that event yet - my brain filled in the blanks as it were. Creepy as that was, preferable to real world stress dreams.
