He stretches as he walks on the all to familiar streets. It felt like forever since he’d been in New York, yet nothing felt like it changed. He was curious though and wandered, searching for a certain piper who he vaguely remembered.

“You realize... if we continue this little game of ours, my softer self might pick up on you fading in and out, yes?” He spoke lowly to the mortal he’d pinned against a wall, inching closer. He could hear his blood pulsing, taste it in the air. He could already feel his fangs inching out further, but hesitated. A point needed to be made.

“Aiden may be a fool, but even he is not blind. What will you do when he asks? When he worries over you?” The hunger was gnawing at him; the willing victim before his so very prone, and eager even. “He will forget you eventually.... he always does. It could be a few years... but perhaps it will also be a matter of month, or weeks, or even days...” He leaned closer, nearly nose-to-nose with the human.

“Why should I let him keep you?”
