“Ok, let’s do this one last time. My name is Wildfire. I was born on Tamaran and for the first few years of my life, everything was perfect. But I think you know the rest. The Gordanians attacked, I got sent lightyears away from my family, joined the Omega Men and fought villains all over the galaxy. It was fine, but I wanted to see my family again. So I left the Omega Men and traveled back to Tamaran...only to find out that all of my family was gone. Parents died, Sisters sent to who knows where. I was alone.
“I couldn’t stay there. Too many memories, you understand right? So I roamed the rest of the galaxy and found a planet. Earth. I visited a lot of places but I stayed in Jump City. One night, I stopped a bank robbery on my way back home. Then I saved more people. One thing lead to another, and I became Blaze: The Defender of Jump City.
“I saved the city, stopped a few bad guys, fell in love, saved the city again, got married, saved it again and again- You get the gist right? Anyway, I’ve become an icon for citizens, up-and-coming heros, basically most people! Been recognized by the city, gotten a few awards for my heroism, but in the end that doesn’t matter to me. I just love being Blaze.
No matter how many times I get knocked down, I always get back up. Cause the only thing that’s stopping Jump City from being destroyed is me. Who else would it be?”
