Wade knows how to sing, like actually sing, harmonizes to the radio, sings in the shower, while he fights, while he does chores, quietly under his breath a lot like he doesn’t even really notice it. Wade doesn’t think about how well he can actually sing because it was never relevant to his life. He always seems to be hearing music no one else does and people generally ignore anything good about him anyway.
Logan loves it. The moment that Logan first hears Wade singing to Mary Puppins, his whole view changes. Suddenly, Wade becomes someone he sees as lovely in some way and it all follows like an avalanche until he’s obsessed with how deft his hands are and how much weight he can carry and the fact that he cooks a mean stir fry and his singing voice god his voice. Logan suffice it to say has a bit of a competence kink and a deep urge to stay near his songbird.
