To listen to? Idk they all play such different roles BUT you cannot beat a sexy riff on guitar! You just can't! But also drums... blastbeats...... daamn this question is weirdly hard.

The Doors - What is your favorite lyric?

Metallica - A song that you think everybody should listen to?

I'm gonna be just a touch salty with this pick, and say Black Metal by Venom. Then maybe everyone who is quick to say "black metal is all about being a jerk and murdering people and having shitty beliefs because that was the ~origin of the genre in the Norwegian black metal scene" may actually recall that the Norwegian scene was literally also named the "second wave of black metal". As in, other people laid the groundwork first. Not just Venom of course, but like. They did give name to the genre. Also, just on the merit of the song, it's very joyous to me like, fuck yeah, gonna lay down my soul to the gods rock and roll with metal tenfold through that deadly black hole!!! Iconic.

@ratsalad i had no problem finding portia’s route interesting and compelling because i find her character interesting and compelling and worthy of interaction, and i also don’t think there’s anything less interesting happening in her route than in any of the others. i was asking people to EXAMINE why they are so unwilling to see portia as a full character who is just as much of an interesting li choice as the others.

BUT BEYOND THAT, i also said, like, if you don’t want to play portia’s route because you’re not romantically interested in her or whatever then i can’t force you to be interested, i literally can just ask you to just sit there and click through it so that those of us who enjoy portia as an li and as a full character don’t lose her.

olive green; are you currently reading anything? how do you like it so far?

Yeah I like to read multiple things at once so my current reads are:

Tales of Norse Mythology, which is something I'm just dipping in and out of and reading very small bits of because that's kind of the style of it. Rainbow Milk (Paul Mendez), which I'm currently reading for queer book club and enjoying, though wondering the relevance of the first section to the 2nd and 3rd sections. Black and British (David Olusoga) which I'm only a chapter into but it's going to be a look into Black British history through the ages which is cool. And finally, The Blade Itself (Joe Abercrombie) which I literally just started so no real opinions yet.

Oh literally just. Stereotypical metalhead honestly. Band shirts and battlejackets and lots of black. Making people cross themselves when they see me (this has happened, once)

mars brown; what’s a movie that always puts a smile on your face/makes you laugh?

I'm not like super into movies but one that made me laugh recently is Deathgasm. It's just my kind of thing - horror comedy, very metal, kinda dumb jokes

turquoise blue; if you could start a garden, what would you plant?

Uhhh I'm not super good at plants but probably herbs? I could use those, I cook a lot

hm! is the phrase ‘titty bar’ only used in certain states? i tried looking it up, but couldn’t find any information on the geographic usage range. i feel like i’ve heard it used in california, but i really can’t be sure.

i agree that the show would’ve mentioned if he was from florida! i personally have been leaning towards “born in new jersey, moved to atlanta as a baby after stella took him in” but i have toyed with the idea of his mom being from texas! idk i’m still trying on different hcs though hahaha
