#murderface origin debate

does anyone know of any evidence pointing to where murderface is from? i know he’s probably from the south generally and possibly specifically from south carolina, mississippi, alabama, georgia, louisiana, florida or texas, but that’s as far as i can figure.

@mordland i think there’s also a brief mention of fans from the south in particular being excited for his birthday, but yeah, mainly the boxers. i’m willing to take that for all it worth though, which is why i mentioned the states that formed the confederacy as the most likely candidates

hm! is the phrase ‘titty bar’ only used in certain states? i tried looking it up, but couldn’t find any information on the geographic usage range. i feel like i’ve heard it used in california, but i really can’t be sure.

i agree that the show would’ve mentioned if he was from florida! i personally have been leaning towards “born in new jersey, moved to atlanta as a baby after stella took him in” but i have toyed with the idea of his mom being from texas! idk i’m still trying on different hcs though hahaha

i had sort of assumed that mordland is its own district that doesn’t count as any one state kinda like washington d.c., and that new jersey was one of the states it borders

my main logic for georgia (beyond the whole confederacy thing) was that it’s as close as i could get him to the band starting point of florida without doubling up on where members are from...... i have this idea in my head that he didn’t need to travel too far afield to find dethklok

I think Nathan’s parents are the ones in the Florida retirement community? Unless the Murderfaces are as well and I missed that too (v possible)
