I cast Ravaging Blaze with Pyromancer's Goggles, a Mountain, and additional 8 mana. My opponent only has one creature on the field. Will the copy also deal damage to the player even though there isn't another creature to target? (I have instants and sorceries in my graveyard for Spell Mastery.) In the end, am I dealing 8 damage to my opponent or 16 damage?

Assuming the creature you target will die to the first copy of Raving Blaze, then the second copy that tries to resolve will be countered on resolution because its target is no longer legal. Even with Spell Mastery, Ravaging Blaze only has a single target.

Yes.

The value of X for a spell on the stack is part of its copiable values.
